Hmmmm, this has been posted since the 17th of Oct...
Smack 10-18-2005, 03:00 AM He tipped the scales with 140 for his rematch with Chico, so why not.
Martin (Top Knowledge) 10-18-2005, 07:08 AM I agree, the fight was a catch-weight at welterweight... So why not put him in the 140lb division.
DiegoFuego 10-18-2005, 03:54 PM He's a disgrace to boxing right now.
enadeus 10-18-2005, 04:09 PM He should fight Kostya Tszyu.

Helluva a post!
Kenny Blankenship 10-18-2005, 06:52 PM I'd like to see any of these fights:
Cotto-Gatti
Cotto-Castillo
Castillo-Hatton
Hatton-Mayweather
Hatton-Cotto
Hatton-Gatti
Castillo-Gatti
Mayweather-Cotto
The list of possibilities are endless in this division. I think you can take Gatti out of the picture at 140 though, he can't make the weight anymore.
KidBlackie 10-18-2005, 07:21 PM Maybe they should rate him at Welter since he admits he was over the JW limit before he was ever weighed. Facts are he never intended to make the weight for the fight.
the first post iwatchboxing has made, in which i didn't feel like closign the window
tracylee 10-18-2005, 07:49 PM He's a disgrace to boxing right now.
Lol, only to bitter corrales fans that just cant accept fact. Tell me something, how disgraced was chico when he spit out his mouthpiece twice to buy himself 30 sec's (the 2nd time) to recover from those knockdowns?? Any at all?

hahahahah some of you people kill me! he never intended blah blah blah..and you have that on WHAT authority exactly? Please tell us how you would know something thats impossible to know?
Are you in his head? Does he run any of his decisions by you??
fatpom 10-19-2005, 12:42 AM I'd like to see any of these fights:

Castillo/Hatton is the only fight that has the possibility of happening from that list.
Gatti is no longer @ 140
Floyd has beat JLC twice already & won't risk a 3rd
Floyd has already proven a reluctance to fight Hatton
and Cotto wants nothing to do with top class opposition
IwatchBoxing 10-19-2005, 02:50 PM I bet Castillo Cotto would be made before any other big fight, because Castillo is the less dangerous of Mayweather/Hatton...its almost offical. :D

Lets see here Castillo is probably the biggest of the three so I would say your wrong for the 4,432 time. (Cotto is probably ****ed with all three...you no better then anyone that when a Puerto Rican is faced with a challenge 9 times out of ten they fold)
Your might be the dumbest but your still my favorite!
Talk to you later IWATCH!

Castilla isnt a challenge, using a jab and shes perfectly harmless :lol1:
Eric Persson 10-19-2005, 03:26 PM Castillo against Hatton, make it happen.
Castilla isnt a challenge, using a jab and shes perfectly harmless :lol1:
Wrong for the 4,433rd time IWATCH, did you watch Castillo last fight against a guy named Chico..I thought the jab looked pretty darn good, what did you think genious?
Cotto using a jab huh...are you suggesting that Cotto outbox someone??? If so please give me another example of Miguel outboxing one of his oppoents? Is this really the fight that Miguel The Mechanical can execute...a boxing match?
Take it from me IWATCH a neutral white boy....Puerto Ricans dont want to mess with Mexicans, again you know this even better then I.
IwatchBoxing 10-19-2005, 03:38 PM I cant wait for Cotto to fight Castilla, not only does he knock out a Mexican, but he he knocks out all you whiteboy nuthuggers of their, two for the price of one. :D Yes, I'm suggesting he can outbox Castillo, Cotto is a boxer, if you didnt know, he only brawled for experince.
This is how Cotto will fight Castilla
Earlier this year, Cotto took a big step up in competition, going toe-to-toe with former lightweight champ Cesar Bazan. Cotto set the tone early with a short, wicked left hook that knocked Bazan down in the first round. Throughout the fight, Cotto overpowered Bazan with constant pressure, and crisp combinations. Showing amazing patience for a young fighter, Cotto battled hard and smart, pounding away at the former champ. When Cotto drilled Bazan with two crunching left hooks to start the eleventh, the referee jumped in to stop the annihilation. Cotto had passed his first major test as a pro with flying colors.
bigdlb12 10-19-2005, 03:56 PM castillo vs hatton would be so cool

Lay off white boys...we are harmless creatures who just want to be left alone.
Cesar Bazan...check out Castillo's fight with him years earlier...it was on the undercard of Chico v. Floyd...youll be impressed-Cotto beat up on an old man not a prime chavez, ****!
When are you going to call me...we are true friends that cannot avoid each other for much longer!

if he intended to make weight, why was he three pounds over?
boxers weight themselves more than once a day for weeks coming up to the fight.
also, if he had intended to make weight, why did he come back heavier when he left to attempt to lose weight?
please explain that to me
dansweeney 10-19-2005, 04:03 PM castillo had no intention to make 135, he was pretty much a full class higher at 138 and a half pound. its also obvious he never triedto make the weight because at the weigh in he and his team did everything possible to fake that they made 135, his doc with his foot under the scale, and also one time when he got on the scale, his trainers started clapping like he made it, but you can see goosen in the corner shaking his head no that castillo wasn't clse.the guy is a cheater, he will get his in the 3rd fight
****!!!!!!
IWATCH your never gonna guess what just happened to me...****!
I just came home to say hello to my beautiful wife during my lunch break and when I walked in she was fingering herself to my Cotto v. Corely tape.
I raised my fist at her and told her to explain herself...I asked her is Miguel that great?
She said "he is pretty damn hot plus look at the crowd" she said
I said "the crowd, what the **** are you talking about"
she said "there are so dirty, I love it!"
I decided not to hit her, still dont know if I made the right decision, I just walked out of the house and went back to work. (that ***** is lucky)
Does anyone no where Corley v. Cotto took place?
tracylee 10-20-2005, 03:00 PM did you watch Castillo last fight against a guy named Chico..I thought the jab looked pretty darn good,
lol, I would think that diego would take offense at anyone claiming that castillo wasnt a "challenge" since castillos ko'ed him twice! :D

rib injury kept him from training a few days, which explains why he came in 3 lbs over.
Youre right, boxers are supposed to weigh themselves daily when getting ready for a fight, so why did diego have so much trouble losing the wt. himself, which left him coming into the fight so "weight drained"??
