Hey guys. Im 16 years old and im 5'7 and weighs 130 punds. I wanna be a boxer someday. Is it too late for me to start boxing?

Is it too late for me to start boxing? it's never too late, remeber what teddy atlas says: "If you're gonna turn pro late, be active." if you really want to be a boxer, start now, you're just the right age. join your local amatuer boxing asssociation, the most important thing is to find a coach who will focus on the fundamentals, which are: 1. good jab ( you'll know when it's good when u can win rounds with just the jab 2. good D - learn how to cover up, it'll save your ass 3. good technique - remember, fighters like james toney have long careers because of good technique merry christmas, and good luck kid, i hope you become a boxer Sweat 12-23-2004, 10:52 PM no look at rocky marciano didn't he start boxing at the age of 19.
