Henry 'El Nitro' Bruseles will glove up, hit the bags, go into the ring and spar on Christmas Day and New Year Day in his hometown gym of Caguas, Puerto Rico. Bruseles is getting prepared to take on two-time world champion Floyd Mayweather at the AmericanAirlines Arena, Miami, Jan. 22 on HBO. "It will be a big sacrifice to miss the holidays, but the pay-off will be very big when I win," Bruseles told Primer Hora in Puerto Rico. Bruseles has being working very hard for this opportunity. "I know this a big fight for me and I feel more then ready for the challenge. A victory here will open many doors for me and lead me right to a world title fight," said Bruseles. Bruseles, 21-1-2, is totally confident he can defeat Mayweather. "Mayweather looked slow and got tired in his first fight at 140 (against DeMarcus Corley in Atlantic City.) I'm a natural 140 pounder and that will be my big advantange. As soon as he feels my power he's going to run, so I have to be ready to stop him from running and make him fight" On his game plan against Mayweather he said: "I am going to be very agressive. Hit him with everything I got from the first bell to the last. I will work the body early in this fight. "I'm looking forward to fighting in Miami. There are many Latinos there who will be rooting for me and I will give them my best effort," said Bruseles.

This could be Mayweather's last fight for a while considering he has tons of charges against him, that include assault and domestic abuse. I hope he doesn't go to jail because he is one of my favorites and I wanted to see him have a huge year but jail does look likley.

I think that Floyd's uncle has finally converted him into a offensive fighter and he will fight this way for now on. I disagree with alot of people who seem to think that this will affect his defense. I think he can fight this way and still be great defensively. I think Chop just caught him a couple of times because of he was a southpaw. He also faught that way against N'Dou and didnt have any problems

I think Floyd does belong here and will dominate the division, but I give Zoo his respect as being #1 right now. I've never seen Bruseles before. How good is he and what are his strengths and weakness. One thing that was funny is that he said Floyd looked slow. Bruseles is 21 - 2 - 1 (13). He cuts and he doesn`t do one thing special, he is more or less an all rounder. Mayweather is too good in all departments and i expect a brave Bruseles to be TKO`d in about 7 rounds!

Floyd is just using bruseles to buy time and get money while he gets comfortable at his weight. This isn't a real fight in the sense of the word cause it's such a cakewalk, but it should lead to better things to come.

Right now it's a moot point because PBF won't fight him until after the Gatti fight (assuming Gatti beats Leija). After that look for him to try to fight Tszyu and then Cotto. By then Cotto will be big and the fight will be worth more. But, by then, I think Cotto will be able to handle PBF and hand him a loss.

I don't think so. Tszyu is nothing but a right hand and has problems with righties (look at his impressive wins and all are against southpaws). Miguel is quicker than Tszyu and will be able to counter the right with a solid left hook all night long. I'd expect Cotto to KO Tszyu in 7 or 8 rounds.

All I can say is that I would take that bet. PBF would ko him also. But definatly Tzsuy puts him on his back. I doubt Cotto could KD let alone KO Tszuy and definetly aint gonna KD PBF, but yer a PR and I understand yer loyalty
