Sky Sports 1. Mark Hobson has pulled out with Shingles, so he's got a 10 rounder with Vincenzo Rossitto.

Other than an extremely ill-advised match-up with experienced pro Carl Thompson (who KOed him in five) I think Haye has shown plenty of promise. In his last bout he took out old Jones Jr. victim Glen Kelly inside two rounds.

You can see his record here: http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=155774

PM Bumbardier and ask to join his lounge. Then you will come across it soon. (Not literally, obviously).

Am I the only one who doesn't rate David Haye?

I just don't see what everyone else is seeing in him, i.e. "World champion prospect".

He's had what? 14 fights now, he's already lost to a 41yr old that I'm sorry to say - is a shot fighter. I also saw him in a terrible state when he got flatterened by an African journeyman, Haye was nearly stopped!

I dunno, I just don't understand all the hype around him. He holds his hands WAY TOO LOW - (and he has been caught), I'm not convinced he has a proper chin yet... In fact I'm very weary about a lot of things regarding him. Pair this all up with the fact that he's not even a British Champ yet (Let alone European or commonwealth) and I think it's a little bit optimistic to be hailing him a World Champion prospect!

I'm not trying to make David Haye sound ****... I'm just saying that I'm not getting the hype surrounding him. I don't think he's anything special.

Get out of there and come into ours. Get all the top Brit fights, mate.

(Actually, seeing as it's you, I'll let you have a blend with it anyway)

Dave needs to go spit and sawdust in my opinion, yo its no secret he still trains at posh gyms with the most expensive equipment and stuff, i question his heart to be honest and i think he needs to focus more on training hard rather than how good his hair looks. He totally burned out against Carl, reminded me of Nige against Watson.

I remember someone - I think it was IWatchBoxing - had this as their sig: "David 'The Gay' Haye. Boxing's Biggest Fruit Salad." :D

Did you see that fight (it was the Thompson one actually) where Jodie Marsh walked him into the fight?

Actually, that's a lounge thread, innit?

this guy is quality....real slick operator, good power and nice speed. Kind of fights in a simialr style to roy jones jr...

he was put in way too early against a guy of carl thompson's calibre and showed that he not got all that much stamina. Hopefully he been improving that in the gym

Yeah, they say that guy was rated No.8 by the WBC... logically this should put Haye in the WBC Cruiserweight Top Ten, right?

Some good bouts tonight... Antony Small seems classy as well, that's the third time I've seen him.

I was going to post a thread on here about Jason Collin's chin. He took some heavy shots and kept on going. Then I checked his poor record (15-39-6, with just two KOs) and saw he'd been KOed in the first round seven times. Entertaining night of fights though.

good stuff from david haye...took his time, and then KO'd the guy in the second round. Looked more in control and had his hands higher (thou still not high enuff for me to be comfortable!). Thing with his v open style is that he hasnt got the speed of roy jones or naseem hamed to get out the way as quickly - so is more prone to getting hit.

However this guy really can go far...just some work on his D, get the hands up more and work on stamina (he neva been past 5rds). The guy has a great jab and lots of power...

I really hope this fight for the European title hasnt come too early for him thou....

How pissed off did Johnny Nelson look at the presenter's "Cruiserweights of past and present" crack? Talk about gritted teeth...

David Haye is very talented but i'll never trust his chin, and i don`t think he does either!

I always wanted to see Haye fight, have to get one of his bouts soon. Carl Thompson was good in his day, but at 41, Haye should have beat him. Raised some questions, even though he is still young in the game.

Just saw the fight from today and Haye put his punches together nicely.

I still wouldn't put him in with some of the big bangers at Cruiser though, I just think he'd get ruined.

You could see Haye was going to win from the first punch he landed actually. Watch the opponent when he first feels the power, you can see it travel through his entire body (just a ripple in the legs) from a jab.

That boy's got some serious pop.
