Which fight featured on ESPN2 was the best of all time? I am excluding Ward-Augustus for obvious reasons, but there are a few others that were great. Here is my short list:

1. Sheika-Pemberton II: A cult classic! Pemberton, the man who won the first fight in controversial fashion, is dropped in the second on a series of punches, only to come back and finish the favored Sheika in the 10th.
2. Tarver-Harding I: This fight was something to behold. It always befuddled me why the vastly more talented Tarver just seemed to have the fight of his life against a mediocre counterpuncher named Harding, but styles I guess. The fight is even until Harding breaks Tarver's jaw, and drops him late and wins the decision.
3. Edouard-Gibbs: Who says the middleweights suck? This war between Shobox alum Daniel Edouard and Willie Gibbs was stunning! Edouard, stunned in the first round, comes back to stop the power puncher from Philly in the 4th round.
4. Dorin-Augustus: Who says 2 light punching fighters can't put on a show? Augustus, fresh off the Mickey Ward fight, puts on a decent showing early until the former Olympian roughs up the journeyman and wins a decision.
5. Manfredy- W. Rodriguez: This fight was between 2 tough fighters who had no quit in them. Manfredy in his prime showed what he was made of and edged out a decision over the former title challenger.

Don't forget about Letterlough v. Gonzalez
I almost forgot that one. So many perfect knockdowns, should've been like 5 ko's there!

Your right a lot of refs would have counted Gonzalez out...I think the ref was counting one of the knockdowns by mississippi's.

Guty Espadas Jr-Rocky Juarez was good, I don't think it was one of the best fights, on account of it only lasting 2 rounds. But I think it was a great KO, (If you like Juarez)

Another one is Terrance Lewis vs Robert Davis.Exciting fight to watch.Much like the the Letterlough-Gonzo fight, only the guy that couldn't win a round unless he KD the other guy won by Late RD KO.

Burton(Augustus) vs Ward is the greatest IMO.

Sheika-Pemberton 2.I think Pemberton should get a title shot before he gets to freaking old.
