View Full Version : Tito still want a rematch with Hopkins
kborges 12-22-2004, 11:53 AM Tito is suppose to fight Wright on 3/19 and an according to Primera Hora Tito definately wants to rematch Hopkins. I'm guessing if Tito gets by Wright then he will be looking for Hopkins. IMO Tito will beat Wright and then will see Trinidad vs. Hopkins II.
bpapa420 12-22-2004, 03:43 PM I really want to see this rematch!!! It just sucks that b-hop is so much older now, I hope he can keep the same pace he did the first fight.
Marjoh 12-22-2004, 03:57 PM Yeah, I agree, I too want to see this rematch but B-Hop is just so much older now. And something tells be his age is gonna be major factor in this rematch (if it take place). Guess we just have to wait for Eastman to see if he still have what it takes.
The1God 12-22-2004, 04:18 PM Tito looks better than B Hopkins has, but $$$ may get in the way. It always happens. DO you think B Hop wants to take the risk this far along in his career? If he beats Eastman and takes Tito in a rematch, I am taking Tito but giving Hopkins much props for it.
borikua 12-22-2004, 04:25 PM If Nard wants to retire with a big payday, there's no better option than Tito...but I think that DLH won't let it happen.
Hurlex 12-22-2004, 04:27 PM u will pay for sure for hopkins/tito....but i am seeing tito getting ko'ed maybe even earlier...who knows though..with tito's power...this fight can change in seconds...i just hope tito is not waiting for hopkins to get old...this fight will rock!
Hurlex 12-22-2004, 04:27 PM i will pay for sure*
borikua 12-22-2004, 04:29 PM there is no doubt that I would pay for this fight...
Anyone would pay to see this, but even if tito lost this fight (which i dont see happening) he will go to the score cards. Tito has to big a heart to stay down.
IwatchBoxing 12-22-2004, 04:48 PM I will go to this fight if it happens :D
bpapa420 12-22-2004, 04:49 PM Um, it sure didnt stop him from staying down the last time
trinidadpr87 12-22-2004, 04:50 PM I will go to this fight if it happens :D

mic573 12-22-2004, 05:03 PM Um, it sure didnt stop him from staying down the last time
He didn't stay down last time he got up at the count of nine and wanted to keep fighting until his father stepped in.
trinidadpr87 12-22-2004, 05:08 PM No doubt thats where it will be :D
it would be nice if they had cotto on the undercard.
IwatchBoxing 12-22-2004, 05:15 PM it would be nice if they had cotto on the undercard.
Best undercards:
Cotto/Ivan Calderon or Cotto/Cintron or Cintron/Ivan
or all three :D
trinidadpr87 12-22-2004, 05:16 PM Best undercards:
Cotto Cotto Cintron
Ivan Calderon or Cintron or Ivan calderon

kborges 12-22-2004, 05:17 PM it would be nice if they had cotto on the undercard.
That would be nice Tito vs. Hopkins II and Cotto vs. Mayweather/Tyszu
trinidadpr87 12-22-2004, 05:18 PM That would be nice Tito vs. Hopkins II and Cotto vs. Mayweather/Tyszu
it would be but with promoters it wouldnt happen.
kborges 12-22-2004, 05:23 PM it would be but with promoters it wouldnt happen.
Yeah I know that sucks.
Truth 12-22-2004, 05:55 PM I don't think its the best move for Tito's career at this point to fight Hopkins.
who wouldn't pay for this fight is the real question ....
jack_the_rippuh?????
Knicksman20 12-22-2004, 06:26 PM Tito's not going to jump back in there with B-Hop so quick. He wants to see if Hopkins has gotten old yet. I see the same outcome if they fight again. B-Hop is still on the top of his game.
Xecutioner 12-22-2004, 06:31 PM these threads are useless unless some serious negotiations are going on.
