why would you buy fighting instead of IMF if they cost the same? fighting = title platinum, with a bit worse construction quality

For those UFC gloves, I'm sure you could find much better quality for 70.00

You're mostly payin for the fancy brand name and people who think they will help them trane ufc better.

Stick with more familiar boxing brands you can trust.

well I own both and the fightings are nicer. They fit like a legit glove. Bit lighter feeling than the IMFs as well. also hurt a bit more. lol.

they are not the american version of winning. they are the winning version of title platinum. they have similar logos, other than that, they are completely different in construction and quality

the closest clone to winning is triumph united, and they're not winning quality either

i see you claiming that fighting = winning for half the price, so... have you ever tried a winning glove?

hayabusa is a joke are you kidding me? their sparring gloves are like cement bricks. It's just one of those new age mma companies trying to sell gloves based on how cool they look. I've had one pair of Rivals and I'd say they are average at best as well.

Which pair of Rival gloves did you have? Also, did you like the diagnol velcro system?....

Do you recommend Rival?

well the inner lining tore after a year. I'm only a 130 lb fighter. I tend to bang more than most in my weight class but still I figure a big dude would shred the **** out of the gloves I had.

If you live in canada I suppose I'd recommend, since shipping is cheap. IMFs up here are like 135 bucks after taxes.

Rival isn't a terrible brand, it just doesn't stack up to Grant, Winning, reyes even ringside.

I've used reyes, they are tough as hell and well made but rather heavy.

IMF's feel great, fall apart eventually though.

Everlast is pretty ****ty, haven't tried the protex 3's though, they cost 200 bones and I see a lot of pros rocking them.

I'm using fightings now, had them for about a year, they are holding up - the thumb has a hole torn in the lining but the form is intact and doesn't show any sign of crumbling. They feel great though, very very comfortable glove. To be fair I've hit the bag and pads with these gloves too.

those are velcro. what you see in the pic is an elastic cuff to protect your partners from the velcro. i cut them off because i didn't like 'em. it doesn't leave a mark on they gloves as you can rip them away completely without breaking anything

i also have a pair of reyes with the cuff and i cut it off just as easily
