Does this look like an insult to anyone besides me?

Muhammad recently drew a crowd of 40,000 to see his Filipino featherweight destroyer Manny Pacquiao fight in Taguig in the Philippines. "Manny was getting $5000 a fight before he signed with me and now he's getting a million a fight and is one of the biggest names in the game," Muhammad said. "You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that if I could draw 40,000 people to a non-title bout in the Philippines I could do even bigger numbers in a beautiful city like Sydney with a great champion like Kostya."

40,000 ?? i wish it was true but its more like 25,000. I have to admit that Murad was a great help in PAC's career but i think he had earned enough.

hahaha :D finally, some steam is spewing from the hot kettle. Pac did not sign his contracts and has spoken that he's had enough of Murad. This is just one of his desperate attempts to get Pac's (lost) trust back, he allegedly offered Nedal Hussein a contract to fight one of the 3M's and now a bold offer to Zoo. What lingers on in Pac's mind are the Morales and/or Barrera fight that slipped away. That just showed how amateurish he is compared to Bob Arum haha:D

I won't be surprised if Pac becomes a GBP fighter.

Pacman and Golden boy Promotions...that would be great. Hopefully after the Barrera rematch or that might not happen. (being the same promoter and all)

i agree. golden boy promotions is the talk of the town right now, and money is pouring in at GBP. however, if pac joins GBP, we might as well say goodbye to pac-mab rematch.

Another bunch of bull**** from Murad. He may probably be scouting for more boxers to promote because he feels Pacman may not renew his contract anymore.

If I were Pac's father I'd tell him to go to GBP right now. More bucks, more "Sure" fights.. Its ok if he won't be facing MAB anymore if he signs with GBP. He doesn't need to prove himself anymore to MAB. The JMM fight is what's important for him right now. And a possible collission with El Terrible in the future.

At this stage of his career, Manny has proven himself. Any promoter of value, would literally 'die' to have him in their stable.

Boracay Island looks magnificent! I assume that the recent tsunamis did no damage there? If not, it sure is the way to go for a wonderful vacation. What is the infrastructure like....hotels, timeshare facilities....beach huts....currency rate to the US$ ?
If you are able to provide any info, you may e-mail me at:

Thanks.

Don't worry about the info. I looked it up on the net. It's very commercialised and seems to have a plethora of hotels. Also, too expensive. (Our currency is 6.5 to 1 $US. Not in our favour!)
