here is my new gym this pic was taken yesterday. What do you guys think? I want to buy a punching bag soon. but my favorite is my treadmill I got that last month and I run on it 20 minutes every morning 4 times a week to burn fat.As you can see I put a new power rack holder cause my other one was busted and dirty it fell because one screw came out so I had to buy a new one.

I agree. Very nice home gym dude.

Add a heavybag in the corner and put a speed bag platform in there and you will have a very effective home gym.

Nice.

hahah not fat! Its hard for me to gain weight I am skinny 150 im trying to put back some muscle, I lost alot of weight when I came off the creatine.I was 165 when I took creatine but it made me feel bad and nauseated. Now im doing a different diet and routine im just gonna eat clean and this time keep a journal on what times to eat and what to eat. and lift 4 days a week at nighttime before bed, and jog 3 times a week on the treadmill.

I wanna lose my fat on my gut and put on some lean muscle mass.

Great set-up. Good quality smith machine too. 55lbers -- not bad. Only criticism is you need some motivational posters.

Only thing I gotta say is about that Smithing Machine, those will **** you up bad, free barbell Benchpress, MilitaryPress, and Squats are safer, with the smithing machine youll get ****ed up bad!

how so? I havent even used it yet I had just finished building it 4 days ago. I had a simple bench press last time.

as for the posters my motivation is that mirror I visualize myself getting pumped it sounds narcissitic but it works, I used to have poster of frank zane but it would depress me because I would want that physique right away and I was impatient.

Now I just visualize that I am growing and fill big.

The downfall of Smith machines is that they can limit your lifting movements to one plane ie. up-down compared to normal free weights which allow a more natural body movement. This may reduce some stabiliser muscles helping out with the movement. But like any exercise, concentrate on good technique b4 pumping up the weights

Lol Hunna, Nice!

Yeah Smithing machines for squats will murder your back, same for deadlift if your going to do that, they just don't let u move the way you need to when your doing something like squats! For benchpress its murder on your shoulders, same reason as squats...

ya but I aint gonna use that part as you can see the front has hooks so i can use the bar in the front.

I dont know but when I use bench press my whole upper body trembles even with just 90 pounds. I talked to my friend who is a personal trainer and he said its normal your body has to adjust all the muscles need to adjust he told me to start with small weight on the bar and for many reps with proper form before i can elevate the weight.

yeah i wouldnt recommend benching with a smith because it doesnt really build up real strength like normal bb bench
