Its quite an ambitious idea, but i think if in place, it would work perfectly....
To help moderate the site, i say that one of two things has to happen. Its a suggestion:
#1 - Allow more regulars to become moderators, so mods are constantly on checking the boards out.
#2 - Create a system whereby posters who have been on a minimum of 4 months are part of a board which vote on matters to do with the board, and the majority decision is the thing that happens. Like an election to president or prime minister or whatever...
Some of these decisions may be:
-Updates to the site(like the teams update)
-Banning members
-New forums/rules (like the statistics one that was introduced)
-Changes to the site as it is (karma system and such)
Example
"This board believes that the teams update should be introduced to the site".
The 2 options are: for all those who meet board requirements.
->Agree with this notion
->Disagree with this notion
So lets have a practice run. Who thinks this is a good idea:
