Two & a half weeks ago....I was playing football (American)....& as I went up to pick off a pass, the receiver's elbow slammed into my bicep. It was double impact.
It hurt when it happened, but I played on. When I got home & took a shower, a completely different story. The bicep blew up, & caused nauseating pain.

Now, it still hurts. Not like it did....but is not usable for anything athletic or demanding. It's still very discolored.

I used to scoff when I heard an athlete couldn't compete with a bruised bicep. I thought, "How bad can that be, pussy ?". Well, it is actually quite bad, especially if you intend on USING your damn arm.

I use to play some baseball when I was a kid. But now I'm really not much into any other sport, boxing is the only sport that I will always be in.

I play whatever sport I can. I was playing football every Wednesday night (for 4 weeks) until I screwed up my arm.
I'll play basketball whenever.

I had wanted to join a street hockey league, but too many of the games start too late at night. I am useless without 7 hours, or more, of sleep.

Boxing, however.....is a constant. I'll work out at home if I can't make it to the gym.

I do play basketball once in a while. The thing is I use to play & watch many sports, but I don't watch any other sport today, I only watch boxing. I love the game of baseball but I was never fan of any team, I just followed Darryl Strawberry's career. He was my favorite player when I was a teenager.

I follow soccer, and still play it. I played it for about 8 years and at very high level in canada, but boxing is my real sport. I like the idea that you don't have to rely on someone else to win, but in boxing there's no "team atmosphere" once you get into the ring.

Also play a little bit of basketball in my freetime.

I like soccer also, Arsenal fan, but a great fight will always beat a great football match.
