I've been thinkin' bout taking up boxing for while now. Problem is I dunno where to start.
I had 2 paragraphs about my expirienecs with boxing and why I'd like to start but I figured I'd spare you guys all that and just get to the point. I wanna know how I should start? Like do I get myself a personal trainer or should I go to boxing gym. And how do I find myself one of these?
*edit* I just realized I didn't need to put "opinions" in the title.

i think your best bet is to start out by going to a boxing gym and just have locals show u some of the basics. Also work on some conditioning and then take it from there.

Alright, cool. I got a couple more questions.
Like I usually wear glasses everyday, should I wear contacts or will those just get knocked out? And what's the membership fee for most boxing gyms?
