I think Tito would KO Winky inside 6 rounds. I like Winky but I think Tito's pressure would make him collapse. But, ya never know. I don't recall Winky's chin ever being tested, a clean shot from Tito would be a good test!

Wright turtles up with his gloves as his main defence, probably not a wise tactic against Tito. You could see him slip that left hook through.

I would pick Winky if ever moved, but he will come straight at Tito, you don't do that.

ugh, i cant really make up my mind. every solid boxer has gave tito trouble in his career. winky has an excellent jab, if he uses some movement instead of that turtle shell defense he can really give tito fights with the southpaw jab . tito post hopkins has fought cherifi and mayorga coming up 2 divisions, not exactly the skill level of winky. i still have to favor trinidad against a stationary winky, tito has to commit to the body though

I think Tito wins on pure power and heart. My guess is that Winky woul let his defense down for a moment and Tito would capitalize on it. Tito IMO has always been one of the more intelligent fighters and knows how to adapt to a fighter's style.

If Winky gets caught with as many punches as he did in the last Mosley fight hes going down big time. I say Tito Rd 7 KO.

This is a stylistic mismatch that equals Trinidad by KO.
Winky Wright is an excellent defensive fighter, however....much of his defense consists of blocking punches with his gloves [in which he is very adept at], standing and fending his opponents off with a steady diet of counter-jabs.

First off, nobody 168lbs and below stands in front of Felix Trinidad, covers up, takes punches to the gloves, and gets away with it. This is Winky Wrights style, catching punches on his gloves, and if he let's Trinidad rain down blow after blow on his gloves, he will pay dearly.

Second of all, it takes a quick, patient mover to befuddle Trinidad [see DLH, Hopkins]. Compared to those guys, Winky Wright is not so agile. Trinidad likes to get his feet set in that "sprinter's stance" where he gets up on the ball of his right foot and simply unloads a dynamite left hook or a right cross onto a relatively stationary opponent like Winky Wright. Wright does not have quick enough feet to force Trinidad to set on the move.

One can point out that Winky Wright's southpaw stance will befuddle Trinidad, but according to the old boxing adage, the best weapon against a southpaw is a good left hook, and we all know that Trinidad has one of the most lethal left hooks in Jr.Middle-Middleweight history.

Third of all, if you don't have fancy footwork, then you have to have very good power to get Trinidad's respect [see Vargas, Hopkins, even Mamadou Thiam] and make him circle away from you at times. Otherwise, he'll stalk you all night long, and eventually catch you cold, especially if you're Winky Wright who is slightly-above-average at best in terms of punching power.

The only legitamate weapons Winky Wright has is his jab and counterpunching ability. Not enought against Felix Trinidad. Winky Wright is an excellent fighter, but this is defenitely the wrong fight for him.

Winky wright is overrated, he beat up a past it shane mosely and could not even put him away, he even played the fool and almost got knocked on his butt.
All the other chances he had to get into the elite were blown.
Other fighters are criticized for basing their standing on beating up other fighters from lower weight classes, winky is no different.
Same with hopkins.

The only fighter out of the ones you named who i think as a Winky fan who could beat him is Hopkins. Taylor and Ouma are potential victims to my man Winky. I have watched both the fighters fight who you named and neither of them offer something spectacular that Winky cannot cope with. This is just my opinion as a loyal Winkyfan. Tito will put up a tremendous effort i have no doubt but will get systemaically broken down by Winkys consistant showering of punches.

Yeah, Winky's defense is his main weapon. It makes him a good fighter, but he is hardly worth the recognition his fans give him. He is simply not entertaining to watch, you have to wait for the other guy to make a move.

Winky Wright bores the hell out of us, but he is a very difficult guy to fight. The southpaw style and defense of his will give Tito fits. I'm not ready to predict a Wright victory, but some people are not giving him very much credit. I'll gaurantee you one thing, Tito will not blow him out. It will be a chess match for the first half of the fight. We'll have to wait and see if Wright can take the thunderous shots of Tito for twelve rounds.

I'm leaning towards a Tito decision, but I'll hold my prediction untill closer to fight time
