how long does it take for boxing fitness to decrease when having a break/rest from either injury or holiday would you say 4 days of rest from doing any exercise effect fitness and performance?

I would lean more towards 7-10 days if you are already in great shape.

Personally I find if I take about 4-5 days off I feel great but longer than 7 days and it will take a few sessions to get back into it for me at least.

It can be as little as three to four days. This is why pro boxers continue to do maintenance work during their off time.

yeah id say a week is fine, any more and it will start to show. but 2 weeks with minor exercise is fine too
