I just seen this on boxrec, McCall looks to be past it, but i think it's a good chance for the talented Gomez.

Was wondering if Gomez was ever going to fight again. Talk about a waste of talent.

He could turn out to be a tricky opponent for Klitschko if he wins, his coach says he is dancing again. on the other hand, if McCall wins, klitschko will most likely have to go he distance with McCall, whick will only be the second time in VK'S career.

I like JC Gomez and all, but he will have to take his game to another level against Oliver McCall.

I think klitchko has fought sparred many rounds with JCG. I read an interview with him and he was chief sparring partner when the Klitchkos would train for lefties. They all used to be in Universums stable.

If it's an eliminator, then they shoud get a shot at the WBC belt, it's suprising, but i do think Gomez is a dark horse, and is maybe a tougher fight for Klitschko than a hell of a lot of other guys out there. McCall would also be dangerous.

I used to think Gomez was possibly one of the next good heavyweights but when he lost in a round to that journeyman, i don`t know, i suspect him of being a blwn up crusier. I think he'll outpoint McCall but that isn`t hard to do nowadays. I'd like to see him fight someone like Jamel McCline or Calvin Brock, then we`d know.

Yanqui Diaz KO'ed him in 1 with a very lucky punch. It can happen to anybody bro.

He was also coming off a long lay off, the problems with sugar ray leonard, and probably wasn't training hard, and not taking the fight seriously. He's still one of the most talented boxers in the world.

No way should the winner of this fight get a shot at the title.

Apart from byrd, brewster and toney, theres no other guys who really stand out anyway.
