I've been looking at some of the fantasy fights posted here, some fights are unrealistic in terms of being competitive. This fight IMO would be a great matchup between two real solid fighters.

Now assuming this fight took place a Lightweight who would you see walking away with the victory?

Edwin Rosario - A rare combination of boxer puncher, Rosario was highly skilled. If you seen Rosario's fights with Ramirez,Camacho and Bramble, you would know what I'm talking about.Rosario also had a decent beard, but I think Chico would seen Rosario to the canvas IF one of his trademark punches landed.

Diego Corrales - What can I say the guy can PUNCH...HARD that is. However, Corrales is a fighter that doesnt use his size to his advantage. I think Diego would make a mistake by invited Rosario inside. Once inside Corrales would have to smother Rosario's punches ala Chavez.

Outcome: I see both fighter exchanging knockdowns early but I see Rosario winning because of his boxing skill. Corrales has not been hit by a puncher like Rosario nor Rosario been hit like by someone like Corrales. Corrales LACK of defense would be his downfall in the fight. But Corrales can damn near pull it out if he landed a series of HARD shots. But I still would go with Rosario in a shootout.

wow, this would be such an exciting fight. i hold rosario in a pretty high reguard, he had great power and skill, excellent head movement, jab etc. chico obviously the devastating power in both hands and tremendous size advantage. honestly, im going to have to go with rosario but its a very tough choice, this fight could end early and would be a classic.

This would be a classic.

Rosario was actually the bigger puncher between the two....& he had a very good chin.....even though he was stopped a few times.

Corrales is almost as good a puncher as was Rosario, & AT TIMES, has shown an incredible ability to just walk through power shots.

Rosario....when he wanted to do so, could really box, & fight off of angles.
This would be the best way for him to approach Corrales.

I could see Rosario beating Corrales easily for the majority of the fight, only to see Corrales land a "turnaround" shot....one that hurts Rosario & changes the course of the fight. But, it would happen too late....& Rosario would hang in for a close decision victory.
