Not really. I think he just favor Tarver winning the bout but not actually wants him to win. Kinda like how I want Tarver to lose but I actually favor him over Johnson in winning the fight. :confused:

Yeah,I think so.When Johnson rocked Tarver,Jones would be the first to say Tarver was just playing possum,or if Tarver wasn't punching,Jones would say that Tarver was just resting early in the Round to steal it late.

at first i didnt like this thread..,but now that i think of it...jones kept saying tarver looked like he was saving himself or soemthing...(did jones ever say who he thought won the fight?)...i think jones was glad glen (the underdog-the guy no one knew beat tarver) cuz it shows tarver is not that good and helps the theory that i was a lucky punch or or one time thing,that tarver ko'ed him

but when glen beat Jones too, isnt it worse? If Glen was an unknown underdog that proved Tarver wasn't that good, then what does that make Glen's victory over Jones?

it makes neither man special. It only proves that Jones was old. Which makes jones happy.
