Would you put your money on Wlad or Vitali?

Who knows?... If they fought, d'you reckon older brother would hold off if he thought he had little brother hurt?

I agree with that. Vitali would not be able to see after taking all that punishment. Not to mention Wlad can escape anything Vitali would bring.

He is more mobile, Hits harder with 1 punch, and is far more skilled.

On Wlad... because Vitaliy is the elder brother. Vitaliy probably always shielded Wlad from adversities ... well... at least up to some point.

Wlad will outbox Vitaliy and Vitaliy won;t KO his brother.

I dont know about Wlad on this one as much as I think he is the better fighter I dont see him hurting his big bro. Vitali has a much better chin and pretty good power, over his brother wlad but not as much heart and is in no way in better shape than wlad. This would just be a fight of who could withstand the more punishment and keep getting up, that being said I would want Wlad to win but I dont think he could KO his bro so Vitali wins, by late ko or split decision.

Vitaliy has a great defense most of all.

Absolutely right on!

For those of you who love the KLITS nothing has changed ...really, Vitally is still the hope not Wlad.

It's decent. He mimicks the way his little brother fights.....always has. So I think Wlad also knows how to counter his punches better.

If you notice, Vitali holds his left hand low and swings it around before jabbing or throwing a left hook.

He watched his more experienced little brother use that technique.

Well... maybe it's Zdunek who taught them the same tricks...

Vitali - in the current heavyweight landscape - is pretty much indestructable. Wlad only has to have someone blow on his chin and he's down.

So Wlad's back to being the heir apparent because he held and got up three times? Give me a break.

No, I think Wlad's balance is very poor. He panics too much, but he is improving.

I do not like this "heir apparent" expression that HBO likes to throw around. The expression sucks. Wlad is good and he will be a champ.

However, the best guy in the post-lewis era will be decided after 5-6 years from now when the dust has setlled and all major battles have been fought.

We need to find some way to fuse Wlad's talents with Vitali's durability..

Wlad is a better fighter than Vitali.

Vitali has faced a weak level of opposition throughout his career compared to him. His biggest wins to date include Larry Donald, Kirk Johnson, Corey Sanders, Danny Williams, and Obed Sullivan.

Wlad has beaten and demolished Chris Byrd, Monte Barrett, Axel Schulz, Frans Botha, Charles Shufford, Samuel Peter, Davarryl Williamson, Ray Mercer, Jameel Mcline, Danell Nicholson, Derrick Jefferson, and Dave Bostice.

Both fighters have losses by stoppage. Wlad has 3, Vitali has 2.

Overall Wlad's record dwarfs Vitali's because Wlad was not beating up the Mike Acklys of the boxing world.

Vitaliy went toe to toe with Lewis. Lewis, an all time great, is a very relevant metric for judging fighters.

He is the more skilled boxer, easy.I was impressed by what Wlad was able to do,he didnt lose his head after the Kd's and went right back to his strategy, plus his stamina. But he would not beat big Vit. Wlad would have to go toe to toe with Vitaly,I think they can both take big punches, but no way do i see Wlad being able to outlast Vitaly,I see them trading big punches with consistency and Wlad being the one that ends up getting intimidated.

Vitali's performance against Lewis was extremely impressive. Whether or not you agree with the stoppage, both man had the same amount of time to prepare himself for the other and Vitali handled the big Brit like no one else before him.

Rahman and McCall both beat him by surprise one punch knockouts but Vitali was standing and trading with him and was getting the best of him more often than not. He weathered some big shots, proved his chin in a big way, and outlanded Lewis by a significant margin.
