it was him. i saw him to. boxing seems to be the "cool" thing to do for the rappers now. i saw cory spinks, zab judah, bernard hopkins and fernando vargas in different video's lately. ever since yin yang twins started putting roy jones in their videos it seems like boxers have become the "fad" for rappers now.

Yes it was, as a matter of fact he led Johnson out in his fight with Roy Jones as well, some fans at ringside were giving him crap about Johnson just before the introductions -- he looked over as cool as can be and said "shut the **** up" the fan said something else and then Ice T looks over, grins and says - "Your Mother". How old school is that?! He had me cracking up.

This is the only shot I took of him in the ring in Memphis...

Yep...I watch that every Tue. myself! He was rapping long before he started acting...I'd say the acting is more secure?? I say him in a movie long ago with Rutger Hauer...damn, what was it called?? He was being hunted by these men, like he was wildlife or something....he was the "prey", or the sport, or whatever...very good movie! Now it really pisses me that I cant remember the name.

The first time I ever saw him was when he was with the one hit wonder group "C.C. and the Music Factory". You may recall their hit, "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)".

That wasn't Ice T --- that was a guy named Freedom Williams.

C+C Music Factory wasn't really a group -- it was the product of Robert Clivillés and David Cole, two pop-savvy dance producers. In 1989, Robert Clivillés and David Cole hired all the singers and created all the tracks for Gonna Make You Sweat, C+C Music Factory's first album. While it was prepackaged, it wasn't necessarily faceless; in Freedom Williams, the producers had a solid, if not original or distinctive, rapper. What was really important to the success of the album was how Robert Clivillés and David Cole assembled the tracks, melding hip-hop and club sensibilities to mindlessly catchy pop songs. The three hit singles -- " Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)," "Here We Go," "Things That Make You Go Hmmmm..." -- were very good pop singles, and all of them were massive hits in early 1991.

After their moment in the sun, Freedom Williams left for an unsuccessful solo career and Robert Clivillés and David Cole released , a collection of their work with C+C Music Factory as well as other artists; the album had a hit single with their re-recording of U2's "Pride."

C+C Music Factory released their second album, Anything Goes!, in the summer of 1994; it was a moderate hit, spending nine weeks on the charts. Unfortunately, it was the last album the duo ever made -- David Cole died of spinal meningitis in early 1995.

How about Judah in "That's Gangsta" by Shyne or Ivan Calderon in that new video (I believe it was a N.O.R.E. video).
