"I would like to announce officially my retirement from PRO MMA fights tonight. It was an amazing run, and its a very tough moment ... But there comes a time for all in life, and it's time to move on. I am proud of all I did in MMA and all experiences I had ... I will continue to work with MMA, doing seminars, teaching classes, training fighters, and doing my share to help our sport that I love so much."

He was pretty damn good in his peak. But damn, he became really bad in the end. Watson isn't even all that good & even novice Roy Boughton beat him

He was a pretty decent fighter. Not world class but the man could definitely scrap. A lot of people actually think he beat Rampage. Had that great fight with Robbie Lawler for the eliteXC title. Always sad you to see somebofy you've enjoyed watch fighting retire.

Sad to see him retire, but his time as a relevant fighter was up.
