You can have a great trainer, but it takes a great fighter to execute a strategy. Look at Vivian Harris for example. Manny was telling him exactly what he needs to do, he woulden't listen. I don't know do trainers even get a percentage of a purse? You usually just hire a trainer to train you and thats about it.

no man, he must get a wage plus percentage........well he and they do deserve it....

About 5%. Wlad had all of these skills before Manny.

skills man........there are heaps of boxers out there with those skills..........but none of them have the brains and guidance to execute those skills.

I think Manny gets paid way above normal, starting with Lewis, something on the order of 20-25%.

i agree. just imagine how wlad would of done with a hands on yelling teddy atlas for instants.

Wlad would never fight again if not for manny IMO or at least not be competitive.

you know... thanks moochi. i've almost always thought wlad was a *****. with him being so intelligent it didnt dawn on me that he could be a psych case.my mistake for not pertaining the fact that with the art of boxing the mental part has a lot to do.

i've given psyc breaks to ouma and vivian most recently,and still think these guys can come back kicking ass,but never considered it with the klits.now i will.

klit has seemed to me most recently to be an intelligent guy that gets knocked down easily like he wants to have a moment to assest the damage before going on.those anxious knockdown blows by peter when you slow them down appear glanceing(altho i consede that when you slow things down thing may become distorted).

cant get over that it took wlad 12 rounds to beat such an inexpierienced raw buzzsaw type.

i picked wlad to ko sam around the 6th....it didn't happen....so generally i am disappointed with the way he won....he won, but it wasn't impressive in my eyes.....peter was very slow and raw.

I wonder I how much Wlady takes home after all his training expenses. He pays Manny Steward Fritz Sdunek, about 10 sparring partners of I would assume high quality. Promotional fee, sanctionin fee. What % of the purse do you think Wlad took home from the Peter fight after whatever tax deductions as well. 9% ?

Quite certain though he gets alot of € his sponsers.
