My final post at BoxingScene

Thought I’d leave one last post here in the Lounge so I didn’t just disappear without a trace. This way everyone knows that I’m choosing not to post here anymore; I haven’t just gone AWOL.

I think I’ll keep my username and post count so that I can still access the downloads if Rick keeps my account active. But I’m done posting new threads and responses, either one. I think it’s run its course; it’s not fun anymore.

Thanks for all the good responses to my original threads in the lounge; I liked seeing thousands of views of stuff I created.

I spend too much time posting, though, when I could be concentrating on other productive things, especially lately. It was fun while it lasted…

I’ve got 10 million plus points in the bank; I’m donating a million points each to the following

tracylee – always had kind words no matter what the topic

Thrilla in Manilla – lots of points thrown my way through good karma every chance he got (never asked for any points back, either)

Boxerdog – for being a cool poster and for being one of the only ones to stick up for me when the whole drama with the notorious Internet troll got ugly

pbds – even though he’s a republican

vb Martin – one of the more articulate guys on the board

beeeeatch! – always supportive of my posts

mai.pai.rai.krap – all the nice pms, love through karma

soundtraveler – for just being a good guy

Atwa 66 – for calling be the best poster on the boards

marvdave – the #1 “Snaps” threads fan…

I’m sending the remaining 1488996.03 points divided amongst abdiel2k3, jomapac, and GiantWang (for the Snaps concept…)

I might browse the forums from time to time, but I won’t be baited. So I’m posting this around 1 A.M.EST United States early morning December 20, 2004. Any “attention whore” or insulting posts from some of the lesser posters on the board after a guy’s gone are pretty weak. It’s like desecrating a corpse…

I don't agree with banning the people, but I will be most certian to tax them for their post counts so they can't download any huge download files.

These guys are attention seekers and act like children. Creating posts like "I'm no longer posting here", they want nothing more then for people to say please stay. If these guys were adults, they would just PM whoever they needed to PM and then leave, not try and make the site look bad by saying crap like "the site is stale I'm leaving" or some other garbage.

I posted on forums before and when I left, I let whoever needed to know about it get the word and then left. Posts like this are getting on my nerves already and in the future they will be deleted.
