rocky is a bum clubber lang exposed him as a one hit wonder. mick had him fighting nothing but bums after he beat creed. when he tried to go toe to toe with clubber lang he got knocked out. tyson hits harder than lang. for the first time tyson would have a size advantage over the 5'7 balboa. tyson by brutal ko.

In the Rocky movies, Rocky could beat any opponent including Tyson,Ali,Foreman if he only out trains them. The theme in every Rocky movie is; the boxer who goes through the most grueling training regiment is the one who wins the big fight. In the Rocky movies boxing is basically 1% mental and 99% physical. So, by that rationale if Rocky could out train Muhammad Ali he could beat him. Another theme in the Rocky movies is that Rocky can take a punch like no other mortal man. Thats what turns me off about Rocky movies so much, the fight scenes are just so unrealistic and ridiculous.

If Rocky was a real fighter all his fights would be stopped in the first six rounds. The man gets his ass kicked in every movie and somehow pulls it out.

Rocky always leaves his head open which is extremly bad. He likes to block his stomach more often. He has high endurance though. But when Rocky unloads on his opponent he is unstoppable. He has a lot of heart which is really important.

I wonder why he's unstoppable....
OH I KNOW! PROBABLY BECAUSE HE ISN'T REAL!!
If I was the star of a movie, They could make me take Tyson
In reality I couldn't do it.
That's like Sylvester Stallone fighting whoever played Ivan Drago
It's definitely not happening for Stallone...
Rocky movies are way to unrealistic and I don't think they potray boxing well at all, good entertainment though

Let's just say I wouldn't buy the movies or set aside time to watch them. I'm also not a big movie person either.

I was just saying I pretty much wouldn't watch the movie anymore because I'm not much of a movie person. I usually just watch movies once and never see them after that.

I forgot to put down that Rocky would win because of what I posted above. He always pulls his fights out in the end so Tyson probably wouldn't be an exception.

The first "Rocky" is not only a great boxing movie....it's a great movie, period.
& the fight sequences were very realistic in that one.

The following films got worse & worse.....& further from reality each time.

Stallone would kick dolph lundgrens ass in real life, stallone is always jacked up and lundgren only got that diesel for that one movie, you really think that "drago" could fight like that in real life? no

Its kinda like real life boxing. It shows how life is hard for a boxer which is a 100% true. In Rocky 5, Rocky gets brain problems from boxing and if he gets hit one more time then he will be a retard for life, that has happened to many boxers, like Ali (Parkin's disease). It also shows how training pays off. It shows how you could be a great boxer but never be a Champ.

Tyson hits harder than Lang" true, but he doesn't hit harder than the Commie granite in Drago, so I'm going w/ the Rock on this one. Once again Rock will block w/ his face against Tyson appear to be going down in each round may get knocked down in each round, but that's okay even if the 3 knockdown rule is in effect, it won't matter 'cause he's white(ref and judges will be on the Italian Stallions side). Rocky will climb back and put up his trademark strategy of putting punches in bunches and since Iron Mike can't handle guys that have bigger cajones than him, he'll go out in his shield once more and gets ko'd in the last minute of round 12 or a UD because the judges always bring their lucky pencils w/ 'em!

[QUOTE=theironone]''I think Tyson would have been too much for Holy in 91, 7 or 8 round stoppage.

C`mon, stop with this! We all know Holyfield always had Tyson`s number. Remember the clash in the 1984 Olimpic trails and Cus let Holyfield and Tyson Spar? Remember Cus pulling Tyson out because he knew that this Holyfield guy was too much for my boy!
Tyson was so pissed that Holyfield matched him and it played out in 1996.
In 1991 Holyfield was in his prime, and remember what you all said, you all said it before the fight with Tyson that Holyfield had a HEART CONDITION. That he would be CARRIED OUT ON A STRECHER!! You all said this and Holyfield still kicked his ass.
So how the hell does a 1991 Holyfield pre - heart condition, pre shot, pre wars with Bowe lose to a bully punk shit like Mike Tyson?
Holy beat Tyson mentally in both their fights, he would always beat him!''

The charachter of Rocky was a great one. If there was a fight between Balboa and tyson, i m quite confindent that balboa would pull it off somehow....didn't u see how he destroyed clubber land in the second fight and matched Ivan Drago punch for punch.By the way rocky was 5'9, ivan drago was about 6'4 and tyson is 5'11; so height does not seem a problem. when considering power rocky also has freakish power, and he was a southpaw. This means he would give all sorts of trouble to mike tyson and would eventually knock him out.

Tyson aint fought a southpaw in his whole damn career. If there were more heavyweight southpaws u'd think tyson was scared of them. Tysons got a mean left hook, but against a southpaw it'd be useless, rocky would see it from a mile away. Rock was 5'9 202 pounds right? so height weight advantage isnt massive, plus rockys got more heart (and the eye of the tiger). Rocky all the way.

Sylvester Stallone couldn't would have lost to Michael Spinks. He is an actor, he wouldn't be able to take one body shot from Tyson.

hmm...im afraid i have to vote for balboa. that chin is just ridiculous... "superhuman" even. I dont know how he takes all those punches...its as if its fake. The punching power is similar..tyson with the edge maybe...chin easily goes to balboa, and versatility (spelling) goes to balboa. add to this rocky's heart and we have a winner by last 3 seconds KO.

That because he ate too much pizza before fight and if somebody hit him hard in the stomache he would thru-away - that would be a huge waste for Italian!
