you guys were to generous to roy
i only had one round for him
the rest he tryed to do but johnson always had an answer for him
it just seemed like roys power is gone
he landed great quick and seeminly what were suppose to be hard punches to the body
but they never phased johnson

How did Jones win more than 2 rounds?

I had it 79-73 for johnson, there is no way in hell that Jones won more than 2 rounds

How did Jones win more than 2 rounds?

Because there were times when he landed the cleaner shots in the round. I don't think I was being generous. The majority of the people who scored it had it about that way.

Which is exactly why DM was so hesitant at the start about coming to the U.S. to fight Jones. What rounds did you give Jones?

I gave rounds 3-5 to Jones. I thought he landed the better cleaner shots in those rounds. I called it how I saw it. Who is DM and what does it have to do with this fight?

Sorry but I just don't see how someone lands 4 punches in a round and wins it. Especially when Johnson opponents landed more than 3 times as many punches as RJJ did.

Four punches I guess you didn't see all those other punches Jones was rattling off of Johnson's body and head making him back up.

I don't pay attention to compubox too much. I still stand by my score.

So Compubox is lying now. Face it Jones was outlanded by Johnson 13-4 in the 4th round, yet you still insist on giving it to Jones.

Until I watch the fight again my score still stands. Plus Compubox is not known for being very accurate alot of times that's why I don't pay too much attention to it.

In my case,I gave Jones round 3 and round 5 because Jones' combinations were fast and accurate.By the way I am not a Roy fan.I was objective the whole time although I thought the fight was gonna be a walk in the park for Jones.

There were times in the fight where roy would land some hard, fast ultra clean shots. When scoring a fight thats what I look for. I thought Jones started losing the fight, after round 4. Compubox is pure bull**** half the time. Tape a fight. pick a fighter, count the punches he lands, and then check out compubox. On some fights its horrendous.

Well I AM a Jones fan and think he only took one round. I had it 7-1 Johnson at that point... there was one other close round though so for argument's sake, 6-2 is also a decent score. The 2 judges who had it 77-75 at that point were laughable...

is this why DM always refused to fight in any place different from germany?

Yup. Because he knew he would be the one getting the home cookin' in Germany.

Both Roy and Dariusz are at fault for not making the fight. If they were both so worried about fighting in the other's backyard, they should have fought on the damn Love Boat or something.

Now Roy ducking Michael Nunn, on the other hand....
