What's up guys. I'm gonna start sparring very soon either next week or the week after. And I would really appreciate anybody's advice on what gear to get. I just don't wanna buy stuff and regret it after. I know there are alot people here with knowledge and experience about this stuff. Help me out fellas!!!

tnx for the response. yea great gear that's not as costly. I was looking at some stuff online, is title any good? I think winning is outta my budget.

I have winning headgear but if I was going title I would get http://store.titleboxing.com/title-gel-world-training-headgear-traditional.html. I like the gel ones but the traditional training headgear is good to or you could get the competition but there is not as much protection but you can use it when you compete. As far as gloves the http://www.ringside.com/Ringside-IMF-Tech8482-Sparring-Gloves/productinfo/MFTG+E/ Ive heard good things about these there are also laceup one if thats what your looking for. if your trying to stick with title these are good gloves http://store.titleboxing.com/tsgl.html Also keep in mind that most places you spar with 16oz.

I've heard good things about gloves made in Thailand..Kings and fairtex..Tried an old pair of Fairtex than are in the public stock at the gym..They where by far the best gloves in that stock and they where used a lot for years..

Im a Ringside man myself

the IMF tech gloves are really good on your hands and your partners face but i have a problem making a proper fist in mine....very durable well made gloves though

im currently using Ringsides International Sparring gloves because my IMF's got mauled by my dog. I dont think they make the Int'l gloves anymore though.

but anyways

my friend was a fan of Title but i find their gloves are a little narrow and only the top end gloves they make feel well made....the midrange and low end are really cheap feeling......like wal-mart everlast quality
