View Full Version : Roy Jones Jr. vs Bob Foster GForce22 09-17-2005, 11:14 PM Could Foster's power have taken Roy out? Or would Foster not have been able to catch up to him? GH DODGER 09-18-2005, 01:35 AM even match up for me. could go either way. M26 09-18-2005, 07:05 AM Prime vs prime, I would go with Jones. Foster was great and had awesome power in his arsenal, but I believe Jones would be too slick for him. If not caught by a terrific punch in the later rounds, Jones survives the fight to take home the decision. Roy Jones Jr by UD. Kid Achilles 09-18-2005, 10:13 AM Roy Jones by decision or Foster by nasty ****ing KO. GForce22 09-19-2005, 07:07 PM Played out through Title Bout Championship Boxing, Foster is leading Jones on all cards through 7 rounds before the fight is stopped on cuts and Jones escapes with a victory. Jones is hurt several times, but never tastes the canvas. GH jabsRstiff 09-20-2005, 10:22 AM Foster by KO, around the 9th. Foster's height will bother Roy....& Roy will need to lunge (more than ever) in order to get any offense going. Foster is not the kind of impatient fighter who would let Roy counter him. Somewhere, the biggest puncher in lt. heavy history catches Roy...& from there, it's just about over. Michael Spinks would handle Jones in similar fashion. |
