I just watch it where it is on...HBO,Showtime,Foxsports,ESPN what ever it is on.If I could pick the Best Damn Sports Show crew would be analysts I would prefer to have. But Larry Merchant is always good for a laugh he is like the Bill O'reilly of boxing.

i think sky sports are the better to watch , they build the fight up (profiles on fighters ,there last fights,BIG fight special - like an hour programme looking at the coming big fights ahead that coming week). itv isnt very good to watch boxing on they dont seem to interested in showing the prospects, domestic showdowns

I voted for Skysports... I really do like the coverage they do.

I like the profiles and commentators + the expert panel is very good.

Definitely Sky, their overall quality of presentation is better with preview programmes and also showing a good bit of the undercard bouts which ITV don't do enough of and the big fights on sky box office, the shows are usually between 4-5 hours long for £15 max which is great considering how much the Americans have to pay for the same show.
I don't know if it's just me cos I have NTL digital but ITV, C5 and Eurosport have a much lower picture quality than Sky Sports/Box Office, anyone else get this?

I agree with all the responses on Sky Sports but I like to see boxing on terrestrial TV, as I remember the dark days of when I didn't have sky.

I dunno why that's happening?... You should have a perfect cable connection?... A cable connection either works or it doesn't, simple as that.

It shouldn't make a difference which channel you watch. :dunno:

It's only when watching the boxing, football or something where they're moving about quickly that I notcie it, I know I have digital but on those channels I mentioned it's like a digitised/pixelated look, nothing too bad but still noticeable and as I say the Sky Sports channels are fine  maybe I should bin cable and get a satellite!

ITV BOXING is a joke think about this they had a real good fight with Gary Lockett vs Alan Gray. Not even Highlights were shown if i was a fighter on the way I would not sign with Warren as you will not get the exposure and until u have over 40 fights or is a champion of sorts

I'm not sure mate but I saw on another forum that they'd be showing the Lockett fight on the same show as Ossie Duran/Colin McNeil this Friday on ITV2, you probably saw Neil Sinclair pulled out of that one, he said he'd sparred about 90 rounds and just didn't feel himself so that's how McNeil is in, he was a great amateur up here though I've never saw him, people say he's a **** hot boxer plus a southpaw so that will give anyone trouble, but there's no way i'd watch that bill over Jamie Moore/David Walker! Walker is one of my favourite domestic fighters, never in a bad fight but Moore will have a bit too much of everything for him and probably stop him in the middle rounds.

aaah sorry mate.
im actually on a bit of a detox, no alcohol for a month so please feel free to tantalise me with tales of fine wine and protein rich diets as I stick to my regime of fruit concoctions, salads and sport.

in seriousness , i am on the wagon now, need to get fit again as im helping Matt prepare for his next fight in Nov(kickboxing), and that includes some sparring.

so unless i wanna get my ass handed to me all over the gym i better lose some weight and get much fitter.

That's cool m8 I really need to cut down anyway much as it pains me to say it!
Is Matt your brother? I don't mind a bit of normal sparring but the kickboxing's another story, nothing like a good kick round the earhole to scramble the senses! Even though it's a different sport I went to thai boxing a few times and that was ****ing hard work man those training sessions will stay with me for a long time :D

NO he is the ex southern area Mhouy thai super middleweight champ, we mainly just box when sparring he has other friends to practice his footwork with.

Mainly pad work with 4 x 3 rounds of sparring is our normal routine, due to the karate I used to do, ive got fast hands and can hit with either hand but being a southpaw im a bit different to his normal sparring partners.

its not full on, certainly not to begin with gets more intense in the run up to the fight.

Last time we sparred i hit him with a left hook and he sparked me with an uppercut :D

only a bit of pain, it passes. ;)

well all of them apart from karate.

im just using knowledge i have form there to give matt a work out, its no competition if it comes down to wearing gloves.

he wouldnt fancy the job in streetfight mind and has told me as much. Personally i wouldnt like to have to take him on, not without a hammer in my hand at least.

thankfully im getting a bit old for all that and me and him are tight mates anyway..

It's not until you try something like that after not doing much that you realise how unfit you are! I'd stopped smoking for about a month & decided to go back to the gym and as you know the first night's always the hardest, I almost killed myself, was like one of those blokes who start being sick but I managed to hold it together thankfully, now I just stick to some press ups & a bit of weights but cardio wise i'd be shattered after 2 minutes :D

i hate itv boxing and cannot order PPV:(

i have very limited options, especially as my pc is playing up so i cant watch fights atm

i just prefer for them not to have too many ads

itv has them in between every round with no analysis and shows only 2 fights a night, misses the undercard
