I changed the thread to be more clear but I mean inside and outside the ring confidence, guys who in there prime you felt could never be embarrassed inside or outside the ring. Guys who didn't complain or look for excuses

Marvin Halger and Thomas Hearns come to mind. 2 alpha males that straight up wouldn't back down from each other. Didn't back down from any other fighters either, always scrappy ready to fight anybody.

Hagler was the ultimate beta-male outside the ring he bytched about the first Autofermo fight. Famously got owned by Leonard at that banquet, and got owned by Leonard several other times

Hearns was definitely an alpha male

Hagler was a very good boxer and only fought like that(slugger) in his last few fights. Before that he displayed some excellent boxing skill.
