Last night, during the Apprentice Finale, a clip from the Contender was played. It looked really good, much better than Oscar's show. These guys were competing for a million dollars, not a shot a bogus title. The show also comes from the creators of the Apprentice and Survivor, so you know they'll know how to make it very dramatic and interesting. It starts in February, can't wait.

The Next Great Champ was a BAD show! It was so gay, didnt even make sence, how can u rank a boxer on his abs, and tha fighters were all bums.

Otis Griffin (whos from my city) i thought was big cuz he won tha next great champ

but he just beat a bunch of damn bums, otis is so famous here now for beating up bums, thats a stupid ass show.

i should note that the contender is hosted by ray leonard and stallone.... and they also have the benefit of not making the same mistakes oscar made with his crappy show...

Not to mention I read that the fights won't be dramatized with ****ty angles and dumb music like Oscar's show. They are going to be realistic(whatever that means and for the shows sake, NORMAL) they say. I hope so because it's bad when your trying to bring boxing to more people and do a bad job at it and make people hate it even more. Sheesh, thanks a lot Golden Girl!

Did they make a point of talking about how the fights were going to be shown? Those clipped fights in TNGC were garbage.

Can't stand the Apprentice anymore. The players this time around were all Jackasses, especially that winner. Reminded me of an old boss I had when I was slogging it out in retail.
