v ups r where ya lay flat on your back, then raise your legs and and torso to touch your toes with your fingers, concentrate on the squeeze, the other i'm not quite sure what he's talken bout but some good suggestions here

I do elevated sit-ups and I just change the elevation and it works out great for a overall ab experience.

Your abdominals (rectus abdominus) attach to your rib cage and pelvis. Just approximate these two with hips and knees bent. To hit low abs crunch half way (second half of movement)making sure not to go back more than 45 degress.

Any hip flexion (leg lifting) to train lower abdominals, is er, not good. You are hitting a muscle/s called iliosoas. Legs and abs is two differnt things. Hope helps.

I don't stay away from carbs myself but the only carbs i eat come from veggies and fruit as long as it doesn't have any enriched flour in it. The half crunch thing seems to make a lot of sense to me because i've been doing leg lifts...and nothing is really happening thanks physio and everyone

for, tone your lower abs are the hardest to show because thats the last place the fat wants to come off. so your diet is really important for that if you want it to show, if you just want to make em stronger, they were right earlier with v-ups, leg lifts, sit-ups, butterfly kicks, and twisting sit-ups

the bottom 2 abs are hard as hell to get. What I have noticed around the gym is, you have em, or you don't :P

i'll bet you got a thick layer of skin covering them (i got the same problem) I am WAY to skinny for it to be fat.....sigh.....

oh well, let the other guys have great abs.....I'll worry about great boxing skills....AHEM
