Just for curiosity...who is practising another fighting art, grappling, judo, kick boxing whatever?
Personally I used to practice Muay Thai, actually that's how I got into boxing. I was very crap at punching techniques so by practising to learn I found a great art ;)

of beating and/or chokin the chicken
i usually win in sparrin
but sometimes it catches me off guard

I practice Wing Tsung and Escrima for some time now and I'm loving it.
