we only had a local feed here in Indiana briefly back in like 1997 or so.

The E! show isn't edited very well, but I can remember watching pretty regularly back when Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf was on.

I enjoyed Private Parts (1997) and read the Miss America book. I'm surprised his show has been so long running, though. It's like "new guests, same ol' stuff" anymore...but maybe every talk show is like that.

Howard Stern couldn't touch Bob & Tom in Indianapolis, so nobody's tried to pick him back up.

Bob and Tom have gotten predictable, too. They're a little more "Midwest" and do more comedy skits & songs than just interviews. Most interviews on Bob and Tom are with stand-up comedians.

I like Howard though I never listen to his show. I listen to another talk show in the morning that is funny, but more news oriented, and local. If I have a choice to listen to moronic radio or actually learn something while being entertained, I want to learn something.

Although I dont listen to Howard, I do read his show recaps just about everyday on www.marksfriggin.com and I also own stock in Sirius Radio that I purchased after Howard accounced his move to satellite.

He is the King of Media, but I don't listen anymore. It's the same **** every day. The whole "shock jock" routine grew very tired. I do like how he ****s with the FCC,etc however.

explosive,
good call on the stock purchase. Oprah and Stern are automatic sellers of products, etc. Put their name on it, and it becomes huge! I think I'll do the same.

I thought Syern got fired? Or quit or somthing? I watched his show when it was broadcast on a crappy cable channel years ago. It was just the radio show that had been filmed. Loved it.

Does anyone know if its possible to pick up his radio show here in England?

....I agree, I used to listen to him religiously when he was aired in Virginia years ago and when I cam down to Florida I could pick him up when heading to my Orlando satelite office. After a while the same type of humor gets old and I did lose interest.

I like howards show alot but a friend of mine made a good point part of what makes it so funny is how he gets so close to the edge without going over. How funny will it be when he has open freedom to do whatever he wants.
Im hoping he reinvents the show and deals without having censorship in a better way then just doing the same shows but with dick and ***** being said instead of code words.
