Tony Blitz 09-07-2005, 11:45 AM **** man that was brutal and funny at the same time............. now i know why judah won't fight tszy again and continue fighting bums.............he needs about 20 fights to get his self esteem back........ what a chicken........inside and outside the ring! nice pun, I'm giving you karma for that when my 24hours is up :D druth 09-07-2005, 11:56 AM Thank you so much. That's one of the funniest clips I've ever seen in boxing, hands down. I'd love to watch them fight again just in hopes of that. ZABJUDAH#1P4P 09-07-2005, 12:09 PM did anyone know they changed the rule to a 5 count for that fight apparently. if you fools would time it you would see that at the count of what would have been 8-9 zab was ready to go and steady on his legs. WATCH THE TYSON-BERBICK FIGHT WHERE BERBICK FALLS 3 TIMES AND MILLS LANE CONTINUES TO COUNT, BECAUSE HES TRYING TO GET UP AND HE MIGHT BEAT THE TEN COUNT. IT WILL HAPPEN JUDAH WILL DESTROY THIS GUY, IT WILL BE A REPEAT OF JONES-GRIFFIN 2, MAYBE NOT ONE PUNCH BUT HE WILL GET HIM IN THE FIRST. BUT I HOPE TSZYU GETS A TUNE UP AGAINST SOMEONE AT 147 AND KTFO OF THEM SO EVERYONE CAN SEE HES AT HIS BEST AND THAT HIS POWER HAS STAYED THE SAME OR INCREASED. SO WHEN ZAB BEATS HIS ASS YOU CANT MAKE EXCUSES, "like he was old", "he would ktfo of zab if he was in his prime" druth 09-07-2005, 12:13 PM did anyone know they changed the rule to a 5 count for that fight apparently. if you fools would time it you would see that at the count of what would have been 8-9 zab was ready to go and steady on his legs. He wasn't steady on his legs until he was going after the referee. Once again, look at it from an unbiased point of view. The ref did his job perfectly. He was on queer street, simple as that. When you don't have control of your extremities like that, it isn't good, regardless of whether or not you regain your composure after 30 seconds. Please, before you make a mockery of yourself, think about what you're going to type before you actually do. theironone 09-07-2005, 12:16 PM the thing is this if they do fight again fair play if zab beats him, it isn't as good as maybe beating him 2 or 3 years ago but zoo isnt shot, but zab was done in that, he was up but he was ****ed he would of been out like jones jr vs glen johnson if it had gone on, if you hadnt already noticed zab doesn't possess the strongest of chins ZABJUDAH#1P4P 09-07-2005, 12:16 PM He wasn't steady on his legs until he was going after the referee. I believe that the general rule for the ref is to stop the fight if someone gets up but falls down again. Just think what would happen to Judah if Kostya would have caught him with another right after the first KD. Judah could have had a serious problem. I think that the ref did the right thing at the time, he didn't have the luxury of deciding for 10 minutes, he had to make an instant decision. I think that the ref did the right thing at the time, he didn't have the luxury of deciding for 10 minutes, he had to make an instant decision. no but he had the luxury of deciding for 10 seconds. there is just absolutely no excuse for calling the fight off at the count of 5, even if they go down twice bobby czyz. he was the only one to say that, when they asked marc ratner after the fight he looked at him like WTF are you talking about and simply said no its not a rule. btw the round was over so neither tszyu or judah would have had a chance to throw a another punch in the rounf much less landed one. so its a minute rest for judah to gain his composure back, and he didnt hve that long in the other 2 kd's of his career against millett, and bergman, he came right back against them and jumped all over them and finished them off in 4. so he has showed he can get up and finish people off when he gets kded. i will admit that he was more hurt from the tszyu punch any of the other he went down to, but still thats why there is a ten count and not 5 count. to much controversy, need a rematch we should be discussing what happened in their rematch, about 2 1/2 to 3 years ago at least. but tszyu has ducked him ever since, i its such an easy win why not figh him again right after, specially for all that controversy which would have brought a ton of money to the rematch. now especially with judah being 147 champ all tszyu talked about before the spinks-judah rematch was that after he beat hatton he wanted to go and fight spinks at 147. when judah beat spinks he didnt mention it again, and started saying "i cant look past ricky hatton" and wouldnt even mention zabs name do with that what you want to !!Captain 09-07-2005, 02:09 PM You have a point about the round coming to an end, that's true. However, a few people said about that rule of thumb. It's not an official rule, but it's still out there. As for the rematch, I would love to see it. I truly hope that Kostya will fight Judah, I think that it would be one of the most anticipated fights out there right now. Unfortunately Kostya is not sure if he will fight again. I think it would be especially hard for him to risk it all on young, strong, and very self assured Judah. It's one of those Klitschko vs. Lewis things - we will never know until we see it. druth 09-07-2005, 02:14 PM The ref had to make a quick decision. Judah got hit with a huge right, crumbled, got up, stumbled halfway across the ring and crumbled. Any sane person would have stopped that fight, pure and simple. Arguement over. hollister 09-07-2005, 04:38 PM We need to ask ourselves a question. How many times in recent boxing history has a ref let a fight continue where a fighter was dropped and LOOKED that bad? Regardless of what condition he was really in, he LOOKED ****ing terrible. What if he had let it continue, and the next round he gets caught again, and goes into a coma? WATCH THE TYSON-BERBICK FIGHT WHERE BERBICK FALLS 3 TIMES AND MILLS LANE CONTINUES TO COUNT, BECAUSE HES TRYING TO GET UP AND HE MIGHT BEAT THE TEN COUNT. I know your a Witter fan but he's the 1st example that came to my head, sorry. Witter has fought flat out bums that shouldnt have been in the same ring as him(i.e. Fred Kinuthia) and the type of match up that should be branded "fighting a bum", I dont think Tszyu fought anyone who wasnt a stepping stone to make him the great fighter he is. theironone 09-08-2005, 12:30 PM Witter has def fought bums imo too, i suppose its what your own definition of a bum or easy night is ZABJUDAH#1P4P 09-08-2005, 01:24 PM We need to ask ourselves a question. How many times in recent boxing history has a ref let a fight continue where a fighter was dropped and LOOKED that bad? Regardless of what condition he was really in, he LOOKED ****ing terrible. YOU DONT STOP A FIGHT AT THE COUNT OF 5 UNLESS THE FIGHTER IS UNCONSCIOUS, OR JUST LAYING THERE. BERBICK FELL 3 TIMES AND MILLS LANE CONTINUED TO COUNT TO 10. NO ONE THOUGH JUDAH LOOKED TERRIBLE, THE SHOWTIME ANNOUNCE TEAM WAS SHOCKED THAT IT WAS STOPPED. WHATEVER NADY WOULD HAVE DONE, HE SHOULD HAVE COUNTED TO 8 WHY STOP IT AT 5? I MEAN THAT JUST DOESNT MAKE SENSE. GIVE THE 8 COUNT AND THEN LOOK AT HIM AT LEAST, THIS JUST PROVES HE PANICKED WHEN HE FELL AGAIN AND DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO. JUDAH WOULDNT HAVE BEEN HIT AGAIN IF HE WOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM AN 8 COUNT AND THEN STOPPED IT. SO NO HARM DONE, I MEAN HE SHOULDNT HAVE STOPPED THERE EITHER BUT THAT WOULD HAVE AT LEAST LOOKED MORE ACCEPTABLE FOR HIM. I THINK IF HE WOULD HAVE GAVE ZAB AN 8 COUNT HE WOULD HAVE SEEN HE WAS READY TO FIGHT ON AND HE WOULD HAVE LET IT CONTINUE. BTW EARLIER IN THE YEAR JULIO GONZALEZ WAS KNOCKED DOWN IN LIKE THE 10TH ROUND OF THE FIGHT WITH LETTERLOUGH AND WAS JUST LAYING THERE WITHOUT MOVING AND THE REF KEPT COUNTING AND THEN LET IT CONTINUE AND GONZALEZ WON THE FIGHT. THIS IS THE SAME IDIOT REF WHO LET VARGAS TAKE A 12 ROUND BEATING FROM TITO WHEN HE COULD HAVE STOPPED IT IN THE FIRST ROUND. ALSO THE GUY THAT LET MEEHAN HIT BREWSTER WITH ABOUT 20-30 PUNCHES WHILE BREWSTER WAS OUT ON HIS FEET AGAINST THE ROPES. HE HAS NO INCONSISTENCY AT ALL theironone 09-08-2005, 01:38 PM take the caps off and do you mean consistency, i thought judah looked bad enough for the stoppage INFIGHT 09-08-2005, 01:56 PM In this instance, Judah might have been better served sitting on his ass for a couple seconds to shake any cobwebs loose before jumping up like that. I'm not saying the stoppage was right but Judah looked bad getting up. :dead1: !!Captain 09-08-2005, 03:22 PM bro, if you know anything about boxing, and anything about Kostya Tszyu, you'll know that if there is a big fight, he'll fight all right........ Man, I truly hope that you are right. From what I read, Kostya is not deciding to fight a bum or a champ, he is deciding on whether or not he will fight again at all. I really hope he does, I know he can take pretty much anybody out there, more so even Hatton, as long as it's not in England again. That ref should have been DQ'd for what he allowed in that ring. Moon 09-17-2005, 11:24 AM Once you get up, there's no counting to save you, so stop all that talk. Zab should have just stayed down if he wanted a full 9 count to recover. Once you stand up, or try to like Zab did, you are no longer being counted. So Zab getting waved off can't be compared to a guy lying on the mat getting counted out. This stoppage was not about counting. Zab fans do alot of counting talk, but this was actually about a fighter who didn't look able to stand up, so there's no way he could defend himself. Tha_Greatest 09-17-2005, 12:47 PM Zab Judah looked like a drunky hollister 09-17-2005, 08:24 PM max never said he should restart the ****ing count. wtf is that? that makes no sense your saying he said to start the count over after he fell? your an idiot for thinking that. HE HAS NO INCONSISTENCY AT ALL Anyone who watched his broadcast following the fight would have seen it. If you don't believe me, order the ****ing tape and watch his broadcast, he said it. I agree it didn't make ****ing sense, any more than him saying that everyone should basically ignore Judah's antics after the fight. He also said that whatever that ****er's name was that KO'd his opponent after the fight shouldn't have been suspended. I'm not buying the ****ing tape to prove you're wrong, you wanna call me an idiot then buy the tape and post it for all of us to see. My point was about how bad he looked, how much trouble Nady would have been in if he had allowed the fight to continue and Judah had been hurt, and about what an idiot Kellerman was for saying what he said. I said that to point out how many idiots there are out there who would have let the fight continue and risk the possibility of seeing their fighter hurt or killed in an attempt to avoid seeing him lose. That was on Friday Night Fights by the way. sonofisis 09-17-2005, 09:39 PM He wasn't steady on his legs until he was going after the referee. I hate people that put two on the 10, and blow stuff outta proportion.. How in the hell is this man making a mockery of himself on a boxing website? You should be embarrassed by saying that, get a life, this website isn't important enough to determine that.. And I actually agree with this guy, Judah only made the mistake of getting up too fast, and the Ref. could of gave him the benefit of the doubt, but since it is at his discresion, I can't put the ref at too much fault.. sonofisis 09-17-2005, 09:43 PM And anyways, why do people trash Judah because of one little loss about 5 billion years ago? The only ranked undefeated champs are Lacey and Mayweather, and neither one of them has fought anyone who is P4P in the same Class with Zoo, so you guys need to cut that out, Zab is a quality champ, no matter what any low life losers on the internet says, he's proven it already.. druth 09-22-2005, 09:48 AM /bump so we can all watch it again! :D !! Mr. Soprano 09-22-2005, 10:12 AM /bump so we can all watch it again! :DLoL Judah might have a future.. and he needs to stop running his mouth and fight the right fights! Like El Sureno said.. How can you have an undisputed champion when he is not fighting any of the top names? About that stopage.. Judah nuthuggers stop blching about the 8 count... At that point of his career Judah stood 0 chance against Tszyu.. and if the fight was to go on, the outcome would have been even more dramatic! InThisCorner 09-22-2005, 11:44 AM Yeah everybody saw what Judah was doing...laying his chin out on a silver platter and sooner or later Zoo would of knocked him out with one punch. SonnyJ 09-22-2005, 12:12 PM there would be a repeat of the first fight if tszyu ever fights judah again. after his loss to hatton tszyu would want to prove his place in the hof. beez721 09-22-2005, 12:23 PM did anyone know they changed the rule to a 5 count for that fight apparently. if you fools would time it you would see that at the count of what would have been 8-9 zab was ready to go and steady on his legs. WATCH THE TYSON-BERBICK FIGHT WHERE BERBICK FALLS 3 TIMES AND MILLS LANE CONTINUES TO COUNT, BECAUSE HES TRYING TO GET UP AND HE MIGHT BEAT THE TEN COUNT. DAMN I CANT WAIT TIL ZAB BEATS TSZYU IN THEIR REMATCH WHEN THAT ***** ZOO GETS SOME BALLS. I THINK HE WILL EVENTUALLY FOR THE MONEY AND UNDISPUTED TITLES AT A NEW WEIGHT. I SWEAR I WILL BET EVERY SINGLE POINT I HAVE ON JUDAH BEATING HIM BY TKO/KO BEFORE 6. SO WHEN ZAB BEATS HIS ASS YOU CANT MAKE EXCUSES, "like he was old", "he would ktfo of zab if he was in his prime" of course judah;s calling tzu out now that tzu is 35 yrs old and slowing down. he'd still probably knock judah down 3 times from one punch again though,,LOL Pak men 09-22-2005, 02:18 PM of course judah;s calling tzu out now that tzu is 35 yrs old and slowing down. he'd still probably knock judah down 3 times from one punch again though,,LOL This is the funniest thing I've seen in boxing. The second funniest when Barrera complained of a bad cut when his eye got blasted to bits by PAC's punches. lol! YOU ARE ALL WRONG AND MISTAKEN!!! What Judah was doing was break dancing to show that the punch had no effect on him. lol! SoundWave 09-22-2005, 02:34 PM There is another version of it on steakandcheese.com, its called "The Dance". IMO still think the stoppage was quick. SoundWave 09-22-2005, 02:53 PM http://www.steakandcheese.com/content/detail.asp?ID=18950&type=1&page=26 think this is the link. And it called lets dance KidBlackie 09-22-2005, 03:22 PM [[[why do people trash Judah because of one little loss about 5 billion years ago? The only ranked undefeated champs are Lacey and Mayweather, and neither one of them has fought anyone who is P4P in the same Class with Zoo,]]] ============= Maybe we don't cotton to little tinhorn thugs. Mayweather fought Castillo and Hatton just beat KT. Calzaghe is undefeated...Cotto, Brock, Taylor, who beat the consensus p4per. Lotsa undefeated ranked fighters and Zabby has two losses. No biggie except his fans are in denial. He's got a shaky jaw no matter how you slice it which is why King is keeping him away from sluggers. He might beat KT if he's lucky now. KT is older and took a frightful beating last time out. So what? KT owns the highlight reel and Judah gets all the laughs. Three times from one punch. He could of gone down 6x from the next punch and he might still be dancing the funky chicken from the 3rd punch. He looked like one of Roy's chickens out there. Funny stuff! guru 09-22-2005, 03:24 PM it certainly doesn't show alot confidence in zab's chin, when they keep finding the lightest hitting guys in the division for him to fight... !! Mr. Soprano 09-22-2005, 03:50 PM 1) why do people trash Judah because of one little loss about 5 billion years ago? 2) The only ranked undefeated champs are Lacey and Mayweather, and neither one of them has fought anyone who is P4P in the same Class with Zoo,]]] 1) one little loss? I'll let it go And people will always hold it against him until Zab proves otherwise. It's really in his "hands" 2) You forgot Taylor. XionComrade 09-22-2005, 08:59 PM Lol, yeah he was on steady legs, unfortunant for Jay Nady XD Cmon, Nady-Judah, THE GRUDGE MATCH!!! Judah KO in 9 after doing the chicken dance 4 times for Nady! druth 12-12-2005, 11:03 AM The clip isn't there anymore, and I wanted to watch it! |
