I'm Not Saying That This Big Beast Will Reign As Champion Like Holmes Or Other Long Reigning Champs Did. But, There Is No Denying That He To Be Taken Serious, And Probably For A Long Time. When A Fighter Is As Big As He Is (and Knows How To Fight Using His Height As An Advantage) Hits As Hard, And Is Scrappy Enough (see Lewis Fight), It's A Recipe To Be Around For Awhile. And Like His Brother, When He Finally Does Get Beat Pretty Convinvingly, I Imagine He'll Bounce Back The Same Way His Brother Did. (not That It Was Succesful, But Considering That So Many Fighters Go Into Hiding After They Loose A Huge Match, These Guys Don't , There Seems To Be No Embarrasement Factor Here.) I Just Believe That He'll Be Around, Champ Or Not, For Awhile, And I Believe He'll Do Alot Of Damage On The Way. I Just Haven't Seen Anything Lately To Think Otherwise..what Are Some Of Your Thoughts? I'd Be Intrested In Hearing.

Yeah it stinks but Klitscko rules over the stink. I don`t see any heavyweight that i would favor over him at this time. Time will tell but until someone beats him, he is the best heavyweight in the world and the true heayweight champ!

I cant think of anyone from the current lot who can beat him good.

I think this might be true. If he keeps a tab on his body, not letting injuries get too serious, he should be around for a while, I agree.

One thing that impressed me in the Williams fight is something that Jim Lampley noticed.. he seems to know when to throw a punch at a target and when to throw TO the target. Lots of fakes to get the opponent thrown off, good setups for sharp-shooting.

he will get beaten convincingly soon, and he will still hang around like a bad smell......and this is because he will be able to beat several fringe contenders with his height advantage.

I like Vitali Klitschko. I am happy he is the heavyweight champion. All of his fights are exciting to watch. None of them are boring. No matter who Vitali fights, it will never be boring. To me, that is what a true champion's fights should always be like. That is when you can tell someone is truly a great champion. I think Vitali will be champion for a long time. He is very, very tough to beat.

a quote from VK from their website..

Vitali, since “The Ring” magazine recognized you as the real heavyweight champion, and many boxing experts agree with this, is it time to relax and enjoy what you have earned?

As soon as a boxer has calmed down knowing that he has reached everything he could or ever wanted, than that fighter’s place is not in the ring but on a sofa inside a nice cozy hotel.
I know, that I have not reached all my goals. This means only one thing – I have to keep on fighting, to maintain my rank and justify all that credit that has been given to me.

Vitali, any comments about Rahman’s statements made after your fight?

Self-advertisement and boxing specificity.
