Trinidads power is lethal but Duran was a friggin killer in his prime, I say Duran had the harder punch.

All Around Duran Much More Lethal Fighter. However, As Far As One Punch Power, That Has To Go To Trinidad. He Was More Like A Hearns, His Power Is What Elevates Him From Very Good To Great. Duran, While Decent Power, Is More Like A Chavez, He Would Wear You Down With Constant Solid Punches. If Truth Be Known That Aren't Really That Many One-punch Knockout Artist Out There.

Tito is a dynamite pucher at any weight, Duran was more of a grinder. Roberto was a monster at 135 (usually about 155 by fight time) but his power tailed off a bit at 147, 154 and 160. This could have been one of those fights that would sell 100,000 seats in a soccer stadium though, 2 popular champions who bleed for their countrymen....at 147 it's a pick 'em.

Once again..

People do not answer the question the way it was asked.

Who is the harder puncher between the two, at 147-160 ?
It's Trinidad, by a mile.
Duran was a great puncher at 135, but did not carry anything near the same power as he rose in weight.
At 135, Duran hit no harder than Tito has/does at any weight.

Not only is Tito the better puncher at the weights MENTIONED IN THE QUESTION, he's the better lb4lb. hitter, also.

As for who is the better fighter ?
No contest.....Duran.
Duran is one of the top 5 best fighters to ever walk this earth....Tito's great, but will never come close to that status.

Duran was the harder puncher imo. He was the tyson of the middleweights.

Duran, hands of stone. His power was great, does he still fight?

Dodge....

Duran KO'd just about no one at middleweight....or at welterweight for that matter.

tito's useless he couldnt even knock out Mayorga with those free shots he was given... if mayorga did that to tyson you would see his head rolling onto the floor...

This board is loaded with people who shouldn't be posting about boxing.

Here is your answer. Trinidad is absolutlely the more powerful puncher of the 2 at either weight. Power punching was NOT what Duran was about. He was a swarming type fighter with excellent defense. He could brawl if he had to, box if he nedded to, and ko most when he wanted to. This is why he is a legend and has won 4 titles in 4 different weight classes!

Tito has way more pop than Duran,he always sits on his punches.
