The reason for this post is because this fight was a possibility and not too long ago,a lot of fans were saying Jones would get a wide UD against Tyson.In my opinion,I think Roy Jones does not have a chin like Danny Williams and he would fall.

This may as well be Jones v. the Hulk. He has just as good of chance of beating the Hulk as he would Tyson.

I never considered Jones a heavyweight even after holding the WBA belt.I also considered the possibility of a fixed fight.That's why I started a thread about that Jones-Ruiz fight.

I wouldn't be pretty. It's amazing how fast the tides can turn in boxing, your on top for so long and then you can easily find yourself on the bottom of the pile.

This is the worst logic I've ever seen. Hopkins KO'd Johnson, Johnson KO'd Jones but Jones beat Hopkins bad with one hand. You can't judge a fighter's current opponent by how their past opponents fought. Jones would not fight Tyson like he fought Johnson. I'm not saying Jones would win this fight but how many KO's does Tyson have in the last 5 years?? You say RJJ is shot but don't think for a second that Tyson isn't either. Jones is proof enough that nothing is a sure thing in boxing.

That being said... Jones has no business in the ring with Tyson at this point of his career, it's obvious.
