Alright so I was watching Maury the other day and the chick who is about 14 or 15 years old, got pregnant when she was 13 and claims a neighborhood boy is the father. She went on to say how there's no other way anyone can be the father, because he's the only boy she's had sex with EVER! and he took her virginity.

Well as you might've guessed, the test came out that she wasn't the father (Talk about pulling a Mary..), anyway, my question was WTF did she get out of lying, what was the point, did she think the DNA test was like the lie detector test or something and thought that if she convinced herself he was the only person she had sex with and was the father that it would be true?

It's amazing, but people will do almost anything to be on TV!
They're ignorant to begin with so it's not a big stretch for them to go on TV with some of that ****. I used to think that they were at least getting paid to go on and lie, exaggerate, or blantantly lie, but I think some of that **** is really going on with them and they just don't realize that they are embarasing themselves. Just look at the calibar of the people on those shows. Inbred trailer trash types.
