Does anyone know when brewster fights again? I like to see this guy fight, He takes an ass beating like no one else today. Then he still has the ability to throw his own combos, with power. He also has a good defense, noticed that Meehan missed alot of shots, and thats why he didn't win, Brewster was not in as much trouble as people thought because he was able to avoid alot of shots, same with Wlad. I know alot of user don't have much respect for brewster but keep in mind he is a champ, and has done what many other fighters only dream of.

Good points about Meehan sucking worse than people thought. While I thought Meehan did win that fight, I had it much closer than most people.

However, I have to respectfully disagree with you on having any interest in seeing Lamon Brewster ever fight again. Although I agree with you that there is some entertainment in seeing guys bounce punches off of his head until they exhaust themeselves and fall over, he is of little interest to me. His skills are meidocre save one (and you mentioned it)-he takes an ass beating better than just about anyone else. Not the prime quality of a heavyweight champ.

But it takes all kinds, and I respect your opinion and certainly see your point.

Yeah, it's something about seeing him get his ass beat but never quits, and stays calm, until he see an opening, in one round he was on the ropes for 1 1/2 mins, but still won the round because his 20sec flurry, was much more effective. and i don't care what anyone says about Wlad, he Hurt Wlad, he made him use all his enery then put him down. In no way am i comparing him to Ali, but everyone called ali a master boxer for what he did to george, but calls brewster lucky for what he did to wlad. Wlad was much better then brewster, but brewster out smarted him. same with Foreman, who was better than Ali, but was out smarted.

Great1 I think it is cool that you are in love with Brewster, its wierd but cool at the same time...Not all Brewster fights are good, his last fight with Meehan was a joke.

As for him beating Ruiz...who knows I think someone will eventually come along with a different style that just befuddles Ruiz, kinda like Jones( it may be some mediocre **** head like Nicholson)...maybe it's Brewster...well whoever it is please get Johnny in the ring soon cuz I wanna see some pain!

it was a good decision, brewster won 7rd, kali won 5. only Kali's 5 rounds where more dominate. but u have to win 7 round or get a KD which he didn't do. thus the reason he lost.

i could see brewster making a couple more defenses before he loses. he wont face someone worthwhile for a couple more times. hopefully he will take ons omeone like moorer, although it makes me tired when i think of that fight :)

He better get some pretty bad opposition if he wants to get multiple title defences under his belt. I think a lot of peoples grandmother's could outslug him.

Golota has a good chin, and a smart fighter, with his syle he could beat Brewster easy. Like wlad was doing, only he could finish it.

the only way that Byrd and Brewster have won some of their recent decisions is because Don King was in the mix. If Don's not happy and paid, many people in boxing aren't happy and paid..

Brewster totally lost that fight to Meehan.. Brewster didn't even throw many punches!!

Brewster loses every fight that isn't a complete fix, his last 2 fights were the most suspicious events I've seen in our sport in a while, the Meehan fight being the most blatant. Remember, whenever Don King goes up to a fighter while the cards are being tabulated and tells the fighter "Good Show!" after he has dominated a fight (like he told Meehan after whooping Lamon), the direct translation of "Good Show" is "You won the fight, but it's already in the bag for the other guy, so good luck next time!" If you don't believe me, watch Botha-Schulz or Chavez-Randall 2. We need to speak up about the Shenanigans if they are going to be put to a stop - SacTown1

excellent point my friend! I guess I should just be happy that the American got the best part of the deal, and that Vladimir Quit-schko got KO'd, AGAIN, by an inferior fighter, AGAIN.
