  • The best fighters for H2H match-ups?

I'm talking about fighters who you would always back to win almost any H2H matchup. The obvious ones are Ali at Heavyweight and Robinson at Welterweight but, what others?

I wouldn't bet against Hagler at MW against anyone.

    Any others?

Roy Jones at 168 and 175.

I can't see anyone besting Ezzard Charles at LHW or Roberto Duran at LW.

It's hard to see anyone not named Sandy Saddler beat Willie Pep at FW.

I would bet my whole block on Evander Holyfield vs Anyone at CW

I can also Imagine Tommy Hearns giving SRR a go at WW but SRR sparks him out in the Late rounds.

I think Fighting Harada and Eder Jofre are two Hell Matches up for anyone at BW

        Evander Holyfield at Cruiser.
        Michael Spinks at Light Heavy.
        Roy Jones at Super Middle.
        Monzon at Middle. ()
        Hearns at Junior Middle.
        Robinson at Welter.
        Whitaker or Duran at Lightweight.
        Mayweather at Super Feather.
        Willie Pep at Feather.
Eder Jofre at Bantam, (I've seen both Harada fights plenty of times and scored them both for Jofre).
        Lopez at Minimum.

I also scored both for Jofre. High Five!

I hate to be a broken record, but there is a Heavyweight, who by way of rematch, defeated every opponent he ever faced.

He defeated the top 3 fighters of his era as well as the top fighter of the next era.

            I wont say his name...

I agree. Defeated Prime Tyson, Prime Tua, Prime Holyfield, and got knocked out only because of altitude. He is the greatest living Heavyweight ever and would easily defeat any heavyweight in the history of boxing.... I think I know who you're talking about and I couldn't agree more. What a masterful skilled boxer he was, the sport misses him.

Ricardo Lopez, at Minimumweight, & Evander Holyfield, at Cruiserweight, are the absolute only fighters I would consider total shoo-ins (or very nearly so) at their weights.

Everyone else down through history is fair game.

This. Match the greats against all the other greats of their division and no one is getting out unscathed.
