Thats a tough one. I wouldn't mind seeing him comback and fighting Vitali again. Give him a tune-up fight first of course.

lewis isnt coming back for anything. he has done the right thing but people still complain. people beg for holyfield to retire yet they want a 39 year old lennox lewis to come back

He doesn't need the money, he's still in the limelight, he never lost to anyone that he didn't beat later

he's getting old; why would he come back?

dont get me wrong, i don't really want him to come back unless I could see VK whoop him (why would he come back just for that)
I just want him to shut up or come back, one or the other.

:)

but then again, i guess he's entitled to say whatever he feels like, he's super rich :p

He'd be 40 years old . . . let the old man retire. Even if he came back and Klitschko beat him it wouldn't be anything, just like Lewis's win over Tyson and Marciano's win over Louis were hollow victories. . .

let VK whip a couple live bodies, then you can talk smack like that. Not every fighter stands directly in front of Vitali and tries to trade. Not every fighter, just the ones Vit's people schedule.

Fighters are notorious about doing things they need not do. Lewis NEED not come out of retirement, I think. But if he does, we'll, he's not the first one who needn't but did.

Even with the Klit fight, his legacy has been assured.

Even the greatest ones, like Robinson, has had close victories (even losses) that they should have won handily had they entered the ring in their best form and mind-set.

Because they got unsettled buisness.

And LL are only to this date to slug it out and make a dog fight with VK, the rematch would be crazy.

He is a good fighter no doubt, but he is not great. Lennox's biggest win was over a past his prime Tyson. He got ktfo by McCline and Rahman, two fighters who will not be remembered as being elite. He fought some good fights, but not enough to mention him in the same breathe as Robinson.

Uh, might want to get your facts straight before your post, as in McCall, not McCline. Not that it really matters - he's still an all-time top 10 heavy, although you're right, he's not SRR.

I think lewis is just teasing the big klit, Klit should forget about lewis and concentrate on getting the other champions.
Say lewis came back and they fought next sep -nov, lewis has been out a long time and he's the sort of fighter who generally needs rounds especially now he's an old man, and klit beats him, so what!!! All the klit lovers will say see i told you so blah blah blah and all the lewis lovers will say well now it's 1-1 but lewis was out too long/or to old etc.
lewis won't comeback, he'll enjoy xmas on that jamaican beach with his family put about 10-20 lbs on from all the mince pies and think **** it, i'll just keep on getting fat!!!......and old and grey :)

Great

he's to smart to come back. lewis is an intellect. he's been a millionaire for years. training. running five miles a day. must become a drag when you have nothing more to prove because when you have proven it in the past peoples badmouth you anyway. i'm glad he made money beating the holy hell out of who i thought was a washed up but still dangerous tyson.
he still has his brains attached.is a millionare enjoying a cush celebrity live with his girlfriends. still has his paws in boxing. man,he's got it made and he earned it.

All I said, was that NOT EVEN the great ones, like Robinson... NOT EVEN. That clearly says, Lewis is not anywhere near Robinson's type of fighter. NOT EVEN.

That's as clear as Tiffany crystal.

If Riddick Bowe can come back strong and win a title or two, or maybe even unify the Heavyweight division, I know Lewis will come back to fight 'em..

How true , how true, I have to admit, I like your style...
