DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 10:27 PM Hi, guys. A lot of heat has been put on me lately for making "outrageous" statements and fighting arguments by resorting to insults. The fact of the matter is that what I do here is the complete opposite of that. My red karma bar means I have an opinion. Your blue karma bars (typically) mean you don't.
Now, I was watching Castillo-Corrales again today and I noticed that before the 7th round, Joe Goosen mentions "the mouthpiece" but says "not yet". This is proof that Corrales and Goosen both planned on strategically losing the mouthpiece should Corrales find himself in trouble. And why not? Freitas did the exact same thing to them, and Goosen was irate over it. But this is boxing where actions speak louder than words. Goosen realized he couldn't do anything about Freitas spitting out his mouthpiece. Freitas was rightfully penalized, and that was it. Being the genius he is, Goosen noted that Corrales would now spit out his mouthpiece the next time he was in trouble himself. Like I said, crying doesn't get you very far so I suggest all Castillo fans claiming foul or anybody namecalling Corrales "Cheapo Corrales" please stop whining. It shouldn't have mattered whether Corrales spit out his mouthpiece against Castillo. He was penalized just like Freitas was. So why didn't Castillo win the fight? Corrales still beat Freitas after all. I'll tell you why: Corrales is better than Castillo.
In that fight, you can't help but notice Al Bernstein continuously point out the success Corrales has while fighting from the outside. Corrales dominated half of several rounds (something only done by Corrales in this fight) by hammering Castillo with shots from the outside. Corrales will do this the entire fight the next time around and either win a decision or stop Castillo late once again, but Castillo will NOT win this fight. You can't beat someone with the skills and heart of Corrales. The package is truly unstoppable for most opponents to handle.
Now, respond with your one-sentence insults and send the red karma my way, but I proved my point, and I think any of you would be hardpressed to disagree with any statement I've made here. But for some reason, I'll still be chastized and told I'm the worst poster on the site.
BLOODSHED 08-16-2005, 10:30 PM I agree there somewhat.

Dr.Depravity 08-16-2005, 10:31 PM All I know is that if Diego wants to actually box in the re-match he should have a fairly easy go at Castillo. Diego wanted to prove to the fans that he could brawl. When he stayed outside and boxed he was picking Castillo apart. I expect a smarter fight in the rematch.

MY BAR WAS BLUE , Until i called a certain Klitschko nut hugger a dick rider . :)
It is all good though , hopefully this next fight will be just as good as the first .
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 10:37 PM Yes, insulting a fellow boxingscene member will get you a red bar, but you can still have one even if you don't cuss.
All you need to do is say Morales is better than Barrera, and you will get red karma.
If you say Mosley isn't one of the best fighters in the world, you will get red karma.
If you say Corrales TKO10 Castillo, you will get red karma.
If you say Corrales has been in more than 2 big fights in his career, you will get red karma.
If you say you think Rahman can beat Klitschko, you will get red karma.
These are just accounts of the red karma I received in the last day. :D

I agree. Chico was the better fighter that night. Mouthpiece or no mouthpiece, Castillo should have recognized Corrales wasn't so hurt after all and not went after him. Corrales turned into a killer after the knockdowns knowing exactly what he had to do: score a KO. Castillo should have stayed away and boxed for the last two rounds instead of going after him.
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 10:41 PM I'm confused by the lack of red karma being sent my way and the negative one-sentence insults being flung back at me? Maybe, feeling exposed, they choose not to respond?
mic573 08-16-2005, 10:44 PM Corrales was not picking Castillo apart from the outside. If you go back and look Corrales was throwing his jab and righthand but how many actually land. It kept Castillo outside for a few seconds but it wasn't nearly as effective as Al Bernstein would suggest. Castillo picked the majority of them off with his gloves. Castillo also showed a better jab outside when he threw it. His jab was snapping Corrales' head back. Corrales' jab wasn't doing that to Castillo.
This fight will be fought like the first fight because Castillo will not be kept on the outside all night. If Corrales does try to box I would give it two or three rounds before Castillo warms up and gets inside the way he always does.
Mech. 08-16-2005, 10:46 PM I dont have anything against Corrales (he's one of my favs) just you.
"so I suggest all Castillo fans claiming foul or anybody namecalling Corrales "Cheapo Corrales" please stop whining."
This is the same kind of **** you say against Klitchko/fans.
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 10:47 PM But we also know that Castillo really can't hurt Corrales the way Corrales can take him out. When Corrales goes all out and hammers you, you don't have time to do anything because you are literally out on your feet. Castillo couldn't take a knee or go down (believe me, he would have if he could have) because he was knocked silly and didn't know where the hell he was.

Mech. 08-16-2005, 10:48 PM You ARE a whinner! How can a whinner talk **** about whinners?

Tough break there homie , I am still learnign as i go along . I guess I will look out for that next time . When do they fight again ?? Oct 8th ?
BLOODSHED 08-16-2005, 10:49 PM This is where I disagree, Corrales was that close to losing the fight. Doesnt take a genius to know that.
But we also know that Castillo really can't hurt Corrales the way Corrales can take him out. When Corrales goes all out and hammers you, you don't have time to do anything because you are literally out on your feet. DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 10:51 PM Corrales WAS hurt, but he came back to hurt Castillo. The thing is, Castillo needs to have his timing right to take Corrales out whereas Chico can unload on Jose when he's in dire straits. You can't ever count Corrales out of a fight. I think I might be the only one, but even when he was down twice in the 10th, I never thought Corrales was gonna lose that fight. No effing way
Pac Man Fan 83 08-16-2005, 10:53 PM Good post. I enjoy your contributions to this board and agree a lot of the people with blue lines (myself excluded of course :D ), are the worst posters on this site. There are a lot of nut huggers on this site that don't watch or discuss fights logically. It sucks thats the way it is, but that is the nature of sports fans.
Oh, and I just can't see any way Castillo will beat Corrales in the rematch. I really want Corrales to win and move up and fact Cotto/Hatton.
general_george_washington 08-16-2005, 10:55 PM That fight could have gone either way. Those are the fights I like to see. Castillo has a big chance in the rematch to knock out Corrales and he knows it. He almost did it in the first fight. But rematches most of the time are never as good as the first fights. I bet they have to much respect for one another and the rematch will be boring.
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 10:56 PM No way it could be boring. No way Castillo is gonna back off. The only way it could be boring is if Corrales does the smart thing and boxes him, but jabs set up knockouts and Corrales could take him out again
Dirt E Gomez 08-16-2005, 11:10 PM Ahaha, fear my blue bar even having agreed with you on many of those occasions and constantly hurling insults towards people.
Konstantin 08-16-2005, 11:10 PM Ok, so you defend whiners? Fair enough...I guess :bottle:
This is actually the type of stuff that gets you the red bar. If you stated your opinion that Rahman would beat Klitchko and someone gave you red thats gay. But if you were saying that as well as calling him a nuthugger then big surprise. Its not your opinions but your big mouth.

1st of all, you dont have red karma because u have an opinion. u have red karma because most people (including myself) think that your posts are some of the most outragously inaccurate bull**** ever posted on a web forum.
as for the mouthpiece, its *****-boy bull****. when ali was KDd by frazier, i didnt seem him spit out his mouthpiece to get a breather. when marciano was KDd by walcott, i didnt seem him spit out his mouthpiece to regain his senses, when frazier was being decimated by foreman in their first fight, not once did i see the couragous frazier spit out his mouthpiece in order to avoid punishment, and i dont ever remember the warrior evander holyfield spit out his mouthpiece in ANY of his fights to get a second wind. in conclusion, the spitting of the mouthpiece is a coward's tactic. greats of the past didnt do it when the won or lost. warriors of today (not corrales) dont do it when theyre in trouble. corrales couldve gotten up, taken some more, and fight on regardless of the outcome like a real warrior does. corrales spit out the mouthpiece and resorted to a cowards tactic, cuz he knows he cant win on the same level as castillo.
as for your biased and blind statements, they are spewed out your mouth and onto the screen like swarms of unfounded and hateful locusts. u hate klitschko openly, yes, because you say hes a quitter. and you say hes a quitter like your statement is the only true fact on the planet, instead of saying "i think hes a quitter". you think carlos maussa is one of the p4p best in the world: name some1 else on this web site who shares your opinion. u say hes one of the best because he upset vivian harris. whoop dee doo.
your statements are biased, opinionated, arrogant, ignorant, one-sided, mostly unfounded, and you stick to ur opinion like its the only thing keeping you alive. when you say something, heres what everyone reads: "I am right. You are wrong. What I say is the truth. You cannot argue my logic. You cannot prove me wrong. What I say is true based on the fact that I am the one who said it. I hate him, and him, and him, and him, and him too! You are all hypocrits for standing up to me. I am never wrong." blah blah blah blah. if your going to rant, rave, and hate, at least do so with some rational thinking and logic plz. your not wrong all the time, just most of the time your too opinionated to be wrong or right. all you do is state opinions and hardly any solid facts and myself along with others are tired of reading your perpetual propoganda.
if you want to get on a few ppl's good side, heres an idea: admit your wrong when you ARE wrong. its a sign of maturity, and a gentlemanly sign of respect for your peers, two things you rarely show.
if you think im attacking you as a person and/or poster, your half-right. im not saying ur a bad person, your just too loud, arrogant, and biased, which is the main reason y ur bar is red.
im not going to give you advice on how to change, because i know from experience, extreme, arrogant, *******s dont change.
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 11:24 PM Such hatred! Such passion for hating me! You really believe me when I say Carlos Maussa P4P?
Klitschko is a quitter. By the very definition, a quitter is someone who quits. He was fighting Chris Byrd and he quit; thus, he is a quitter. He can spend the rest of his career trying to erase it, but what's done is done. He can't erase the fact that he is a quitter but he can regain some credibility by beating top names if he ever fights.
Corrales won what is a strong candidate for the greatest fight of all time and you're going to tell me he's a *****? Who's being irrational now?
i see nothing wrong with quitting under the circumstances he was in.
it's not like he was getting his ass handed to him and decided to give up.

"klitschko is a quitter" blind, arrogant, opinionated.
"that fight was one of the greatest of all time" opinionated.
"klitschko quit once, he'll be a quitter for life no matter how many wars he could get into" opinionated, hateful.
i rest my case. thank you for proving my point.
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 11:31 PM So you admit defeat? VICTORY!!!!!
Dirt E Gomez 08-16-2005, 11:33 PM "klitschko is a quitter" blind, arrogant, opinionated.

That was the worst argument ever dude.
Klitscko is a quitter, might be a bit of an exageration but it isn't blind or arrogant by any means, and it's hardly opinionated when he quit! And last time I checked, it's a good thing to have opinions or else Sven Ottke would be remembered as great...
TheEvilSaint 08-16-2005, 11:33 PM So you admit defeat? VICTORY!!!!!
again, you think everything you say is true. u think u cannot be proven wrong, you think some of the most obscene, inaccurate, preposturous, ridiculous, obsurd bull**** a human mind can possibly think.
and like all unfounded haters, when proven wrong, u dismiss the subject.
god, i love exposing *******s like you.
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 11:38 PM How was I exposed? lol, you just admitted defeat only a sec ago...
TheEvilSaint 08-16-2005, 11:39 PM How was I exposed? lol, you just admitted defeat only a sec ago...
how the hell did i admit defeat? i said u proved me right when u attempeted to argue.
ur exposed because you cant prove that ur not what i said you are.
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 11:42 PM anybody else understand what this guy's trying to get at? look, man, whether you love Vitali or not (I think he's the most talented heavyweight in the world other than James Toney), the dude fits the dictionary definition of a quitter. He quit on his stool, so he is a quitter. I really don't understand how you can debate that point...
Dirt E Gomez 08-16-2005, 11:43 PM a He quit on his stool, so he is a quitter. I really don't understand how you can debate that point...
You clearly underestimate the power of stupidity.

again, when backed into a corner, haters like you change the subject or dismiss the subject altogether. ur trying to talk about vitali when we are clearly discussing the problems with ur posts.
regardless of weather or not vitali is a cheater is irelevant. what he is or what he isnt, is not what im getting at. im saying that u cant stop urself from posting all these single-minded opinions that u refuse to back away from.
aside from about corrales, i have yet to read a positive post from you. ive never seen a post by you praising some1 (other than corrales) or claiming a good job done by some1 you hate. its always hate with you. you label somebody and you constantly press that label over and over and over again until people realize that you have no other available posts aside from hate posts.
try this: say some good things about fighters other than diego corrales, admit your wrong in some areas, stop hating people to death, and post something new aside from your opinion. i promise you will find urself a whole lot more popular than you are now.
Torino 08-16-2005, 11:50 PM The way I understand it, A red bar isn't an indication that you have an opinion, it's and indication that you don't respect that others are entitled to one.
"Typically"
DiegoFuego 08-16-2005, 11:50 PM Erik Morales is awesome
Winky Wright is awesome
Floyd Mayweather and Zab Judah are awesome
You've never heard me talk about these guys? You don't read enough
Dirt E Gomez 08-16-2005, 11:51 PM You forgot Rahman, Diego. I'm in the same boat as you with that one.

about floyd and zab, ive heard that rhetoric from you before.
about winky and morales, thats something new. congratulations.
adeelr 08-17-2005, 12:17 AM I agree that Coralles was doing good in the fight, castillo was never ahead on the score cards (atleast my score card), he would tie it by winning a round but lose the next one to fall behind, if he would have survived the 10, that would have been his first lead of the fight but he neved did and got knocked out. I also believe that the spitting of the mouthpiece was intentional and planned, after knocking coralles down 2 times castillo got over confident and dropped his guard, and coralles took him out, its that simple and its just boxing, the fight was a lot of fun to watch but i dont know why people are calling it the greatest fight ever, the fight was great and both fighters fought like lions no disrespect to them but u cant name it da best fight ever in the history of boxing ..if u know what i mean.
Now people about the red karma thing, no body should be disrespecting nobody for thier opinions, the red karma thing should be for people who break the rules of the forum.
DiegoFuego 08-17-2005, 12:19 AM Thanks for your opinion. By the way, the Ali Center opens here in Louisville sometime this year. I hope everybody comes to check it out.
