I just watched an interview with Andre Wards, he said that he is making his debut in december at madison square garden on the undercard of klitschko vs williams.....This is great when asked about how many fights he will have from september 2004 to september 2005, he approximated around 8-10 fights in about 10 month span and said in the amateurs he is use to more so this is not a problem for him....He also hinted at maybe more, I dont know much about andre ward but being a olympic gold medal winner and wanting to fight crazy amounts, he gets my nod though....I will be looking forward to catching andre ward fight as they bring all rising talent through my local area.....Whats everyones elses opinions on him? The fact he wants to stay overly active is a good sign (until of course he gets the taste of money)

Hey thanks for the piece of article . . . I'm not familiar with him yet but I'll be watching his career right fron the start.

His intention is to get a lot of fights as he can handle but that would be easier said than done here in the Pro. There are rulings and limitations on how many days/months boxers have to rest before being issued a permit to fight again by the boxing commisions . . . defending on how his last fight turned out. :D He was saying about 10 fights in a year? That is impossible . . . not unless he is going to K.O. all his opponents in the first round of all his fights. ;) and still impossible because fight negotiations takes at least 2 months to complete and finalized.

I wont think much of him until I see him fight as a pro.

My thoughts are is that he is a super talent and by 2007 were he's looking at a title fight.

Watching him fight, I think he will rise and be the next Roy Jones of the division ruling it for years and years.

Hopefully Showtime has already talked to him about being on ShoBox by next year.

Ward is hands down the best prspect to come out of the 2004 class, hopefully he wont go the way of Ricardo Williams.

If he keeps his head on straight he will easily win titles at 175

Calzage started bouncing the ball then he passed it to Ward for the alley oop.
