I'm watching a gymnastics event and the American girls are doing awesome!

I was a gymnast in high school....I miss it.

what is the name of that event where a gymnast runs and then use the bar and try to make a perfect landing? that's my fav'rite event in gymnastics.

tis the vault event, gymnasts pushes off the vault and somersaults in the air.

United States in the up coming olympics may struggle due to the fact they are starting on a new leaf with a group of rookies (as far as olympic competition/experience goes) the top men and women of the past 2 olympics are now all gone but we should still have a gold or two by the end!

I'm not so sure about that. They definitely train harder, but that's not always the best way to do it.

A friend of mine has a girlfriend that did a lot of gymnastics until she was sth. like 17. She must've been pretty good. But now she's 23 and her back hurts like **** (at least that's what she tells everyone). And she gained weight right after she quit. Basicly it ruined her body.
