Just how great was the man of steel? Thoughts on his resume, skills, greatness etc?

Tough fellow, part of one of the great trilogies and showed how a champion should go out on his shield versus Cerdan. Do have problems with his resume as there are a fair few fighters i'd have liked to have seen on there
