Simple case in boxing...where a fighter (Rahman) may look less than impressive because he didn't KO Barrett...but then show up better and more willing to go for it or step up his game vs Vitali...
meaning I think people including Vitali will go into the fight underestimating Rock and thinking that Rock will just be fodder

Maybe, but when have you ever seen Vitali underestimate an opponent?

there are fighters who we had never seen underestimate and opponent...but eventually they get into a fight where they did...now he probably knows this is his biggest fight since Lewis (and Rahman's too)...but I think even fans will overlook Rahman because of him not KOing Barrett...but we all forget how tough Barrett is...he is no great...but a good spoiler

That could be said yes. Speaking from experience myself, You fight ( or play) better when your fighting better opposition.

Umm this is what I've been saying all night, and people have disagreed just because I dissed their favorite fighter once. Complete bull****.

Both K brothers are the most skilled boxers in the HW division. I dont think they'll lose for at least a couple fights.

Yeah, if Wlad makes it past Peter (he won't), he can fight 3 or 4 bums before he gets KOed again. Personally, I think both Klitschkos lose by knockout in their next fights to seal a perfect boxing year. All my favorites win, all my least favorites lose.

Care to wager any points on the Klitschko - Peters fight?
