Tszyu has to be somewhere is there too..maybe he does not have tremendous raw power but good power + timing + shooting accuracy=devastating power!

AT THIS TIME? RIGHT NOW? That's a qualification. So, Ok, this year, nobody has floored anyone at any time 3 times in a single round...at least no one that I've heard of. Especially no one who is a champion has ever been floored by anyone 3 times in a single round.

And no one has followed that up with a knockout that lifted the victim a full foot high!

So? You know who my choice is. Who else can anybody's choice be as the biggest puncher (not the best fighter necessarily) AT THIS TIME? As we speak?

I noticed though that his name is not anywhere in anybody's post in this thread. Why?

Ok, let's not name names. ;)

I do not understnad how Hopkins is first.I wonder as much. I also wonder why some names who have done more this year in terms of knocking people down/out are not there! Tszyu and Hop have had only one this year. They have not even knocked anybody else down other than those they've KOd. Not that Tzsyu is not a good puncher. But the thread starter says, "NOW"!

Is it so then that if someone KOs one foe this year he becomes the biggest puncher AT THIS TIME EVEN THOUGH MANY OTHERS HAVE KODKDd A FEW MORE?

ow, OK. :o IF YOU SAY SO.

Then, I won't be surprised if Barrera is included in the list for being able to trash an Ayala this year. Big punchers, huh!

jack the rippuh had him on his list.

My list would have him, too, along with Trinidad, Tyson, Rafael Marquez, and Tszyu.

He stopped Jorge Eliecer Julio by a series of punches which forced a ref stoppage as far as i remember. Seems to provide evidence of what i say.

Sometimes i simply forget about guys like your talking about just name him ill probably remember.Tip: In May this year, somebody KDd a champ 3 times in the first round foa title fight.

Last Saturday, Philippine time (that's GMT+8) at about 9pm, somebody KOd a guy who has never been KOd before by lifting him a foot high with a single punch.

If you still don't have any idea who I'm talking about, then...

I guess it's not me. :o

Fahsan, one punch that lifted Fahsan a foot high (not devastating enough?)There are several avatars on this site that attest to that. Haven't seen 'em yet?

Only two of the most recent. ;)

Seems to provide evidence of what i say.More evidence: all the three kDs in the 1st round of the JMM fight were with a single punch. Left to the chin. The final one, Pac tried to finish with a right which did not land.

Many avatars here on this site are there for you to consult. ;)

My opinion is based on that he usually just shoots it out with no loading up like Tyson or Tito would do. Ive never seen a KO by Pacman that rocked the head back violently like McClellan or Jackson would do, they just hit the face and the guy goes down. And Rakkiatgym was KDed 4 times.

Exactly. And that animation exposes the KO. Whether he was "lifted" off his feet is irrelevent it was a grazing shot. Hes not the best filipino puncehr Espinosa was harder hitter imo.

Hes not the best filipino puncehr Espinosa was harder hitter imo.Care to look at Luisito's KO record? :) If you bother, check BoxRec. Even better, get a copy of any Espinosa fight on tape/ disc.

I'm beginning to suspect you've never seen any of the fighters we're talking about. Worse, I'm beginning to suspect you haven't been to a boxing match at all, save for a handfull of clubfights!

But, yes, opinions are opinions. Yours, as you said, is an opinion. I hope you are the only one with it. Otherwise...

P.S. How "relevant"-- and that's with an a because my learning doesn't take me far enough to understand what "relevent" means-- can a "grazing shot" be to lifting an opponent a foot high?

I haven't even seen a "grazing shot" KD anyone much less lift anybody off his feet!

I guess you have. Care to share a video of that with the rest of us ignorant guys on this site? THAT will educate all of us, SOMEWHAT.

Who did that? Mclellan? Who was floored? When? Where?

A "grazing shot" that KOs! Wow! That I have to see! I can hardly wait! I'm waiting to exhale!

By the way, what was exposed by that video? The KO? What?

Now maybe, it's just me; I don't get it.
