I already posted that same question this morning...I'm wondering the same thing. I know Rick will close them that get too heated, etc..but I've seen several that really never got to that level (or anything close to it either) so I'm curious as to why he's closing threads :confused: Glad you started a thread about it cause my question is in the middle of a different thread where he may never see it ;) He closed the one you mentioned, and the one where he posted that the thief option would be modified to where no one person could buy it all up, etc.. before anyone could respond; I was gonna post GREAT IDEA, ABOUT TIME!!! :D

i think he is closing many of the supermember threads because there is so many of them. most of the questions that are asked you can probly find on another supermember thread. so i guess he closed them cos ther was so many ? :confused:

maybe all the hype isn't even warranted. How can he possibly meet the expectations of people who will be sitting around for months mulling what fantastic rewards they will receive for having purchased/earned/spammed the status?

We've made supermember status something that can't come close to living up to the hype...

That's exactly the reason why. The lounge look ridiculous with members flooding the boards with the same sumper member rant day after day, rather then post within the already half a dozen ongoing threads on the subject.

Remember that topic about Gerald McClellan's dog what really got out of hand, and people were talking about slavery and how America was found and all that stuff...That was funny stuff..
