Michihsa Asano wins by Guillotine Choke in Rd 1
Riki Fukuda won a back and forth battle via referee stoppage 2:49 2nd round.
Mike Malone wins over Dustin Hanning By JD
Allen Goes knocked himself out before the event, he wants to fight, but the promoters wont let him. He fell off the ring....
Wesley "Cabbage" Correira vs. Gary "Big Daddy" Goodridge is being announced. Awesome light show going off. Very proffessional production value. Goodridge is coming to the ring with "We will rock you".
Cabbage is coming to the ring with loud cheers from the crowd. He is definately the crowd favorite in this fight.
Mean stare-down between these two sluggers, both look to have bad intentions.
Round 1 of 3 3-minute rounds by K-1 rules.
Round opens with Cabbage putting the heat on with quick fists. Goodridge handle the initial barrage and coms back with a strong overhand right.
Goodridge is looking to do "rope-a-dope". Cabbage shows no fear and marches right into initiate more action.
The are trading bombs 1/2 way through the 1st round.
Cabbage gets hurt by an overhand right. Then Goodridge connects with a low kick that has Cabbage
Goodridge follows up with 2 more leg kicks that put Cabbage to the canvas.
REF STOPS THE FIGHT. Goodridge takes out Cabbage's left knee. Cabbage cannot continue

Carter Williams vs Nobuki Hayashi in quarterfinals of 8 man tournament.
Round opens up with a high kick from Williams that gets the crowd cheering. Carter is content throwing low and high kicks exclusively during the first minute of action.
A low kick from Williams scores and makes Hayashi's left leg unstable. Hayashi is a game fighter and steps into the pocket to trade punches.
At the two minute mark, both fighters are trading and landing low kicks.
A Williams front kick puts Hayashi down at the end of the first round.
Williams VS. Hayashi Round 2.
Carter comes out and is pouring it on with right high kicks that excite the crowd and straight rights that are landing with loud THUDS on Hayashi's head.
Right Leg kick and left hook combination score for Williams.
Half way through the round, Hayashi shows a strong will to stay in the fight. He has taken some solid shots from Williams and is still throwing punches.
As the round winds down, the pace has slowed. Carter is still working and landing combinations, but he is picking his spots.
End of round.
Williams starts round 3 with a fury, landing 3 overhand rights. Hayashi is not doing damage, but is taking all of Carter Williams' power shots and is still standing.
The middle part of the round shows Williams making a strong effort to finish off Hayashi. He is thrwoing every punch with KO effort.
He continues the onslaught through the end of the round.
This one is going to the judges...
Judges decision: Unanimous Decision Carter Williams over Nobuki Hayashi
Round 1 is under way. Royseter opens with a leg kck that is countered by a Butterbean jap. Bean lands a wicked right hook that has the big Royster looking for cover.
Royster ties him up to get the time to clear the cobwebs. Royster scores a lowkick that puts Butterbean to the canvas.
The beef is flying in this one!
Royster pumps a left jab. Butterbean puts his guard down trying to entice Royster into trading shots. Royster stays on the outside and lands kicks and jabs.
Butterbean is YELLING - LETS FIGHT!
Bean is putting on a show for the crowd but is uneffective, so far is landing the counter punch he is looking for.
The round comes to an end with Royster throwing a flying knee.
Round 2 opens with Royster using his reach to keep the fight outside of Butterbean's reach. The crowd starts chanting Butterbean, Butterbean, Butterbean, trying to get the action started.
Butterbean is keeping his guard down and showing no respect for the big Royster's power.
The crowd is distracted as IRON MIKE TYSON ENTERS THE ARENA.
As the 2nd round comes to an end with Royster staing on the outside and away from Butterbeans power.
At the end of the round, Royster lands a solid right hand that Butterbean smiles at.
Round 3 Royster vs. Butterbean.
Royster opens te round with 4 right low kicks that all land and appear to hurt Butterbean.
Butterbean is still looking for that 1 right hand counter to end the fight. He lands occasionally, but Royster handles the shot and ties up.
Royster gets a yellow card at the 1:00 mark of the round.
Royster goes for a high kick that misses over the top of Butterbean's head. Butterbean takes the opportunity to land a combination.
Both fighters tire as the round is nearly over. They trade a couple jabs and...
Butterbean lands 2 right hands that cause a standing 8 count at the very end of the 3rd round.
To the judges... Winner by unanimous decision BUTTERBEAN.
Yusuke Fujimoto vs Scott Junk Round 1 - K-1 rules
Junk starts the fight by chargin in at the bell and forcing Fujimoto to the ropes. Junk lands a couple of knees in the clinch.
Both fighters look light on their feet and are both moving in and out of the pocket fluidly.
Fujimoto looks to counter as Junk presses the action.
Junk throws a straight right counter to a Fujimoto kick and puts Fujimoto to the canvas.
Junk slows his pace and demonstrates good blocking defense.
As the round closes out, Fujimoto gets active but does little damage...
Round 2 Junk vs. Fujimoto
Junk is landing and gaining confidence. Fusimoto is starting to get his shots in, mostly counter punching.
Both fighters look fresh and remain active.
Junk shows his MMA background as he takes the back of Fujimoto and throws him in a suplex, an illegal move in K-1 that gets Junk a red card. The ref is talking to the judges, but I am not sure if there is a penalty or deduction here. Fujimoto gets a rest in the corner to recover from the throw. Junk shows his professionalism and goes to apologize.
In the last minute of the round, both fighter trade and taste each other's power. Both come out of the trade without serious damage.
Fujimoto lands a couple shots toward the end of the round, but nothing causes serious damage.
Round 3 of Junk vs Fujimoto.
The round starts with some back and forth jabs, but nothing of significance.
Junk goes for a high right kick and Fujimoto lands the most solid right hand of the night that puts JUNK OUT COLD!
Fujimoto wins by KO in Round 2
Musashi vs. Nordstrand K-1 rules goes the distance.
After 3 rounds of back and forth action, the fight goes to the fighter from the closest geographic location to Hawaii - MUSASHI.
Musashi wins the judges decision.
Carter Williams vs. Gary Goodridge semi-finals
Goodridge advanced to this fight via TKO over Cabbage. Carter Williams advances by unanimous decision over Nobuki Hayashi.
Both fighters are very calm during the pre-fight instructions.
This fight looks to have some heavy leather thrown.
Willims opens with a low kick. Goodridge is tentative at the outset.
Goodridge gets Williams in the corner and hammers him with two overhand rights that put willimas to the canvas and have willims out on his feet.
Goodridge charges in with a methodical assalt.
Goodridge lands another shot that CRUSHES Williams!
Williams is out! Williams is out!
Goodridge wins convincingly. It takes Williams a good 30 seconds to find his way to his feet. He still looks very dazed and is not able to stand steady.
GARY BIG DADDY GOODRIDGE ADVANCES
Butterbean is injured and cannot continue! An injury to his left thigh is given as the reason.
The reserve winner Mike Malone is also injured.
By K-1 rules, Marcus Royster will fill-in.
This bout is Marcus Royster vs. Yusuke Fujimoto.
Fujimoto at 220 lbs vs. Royster at 330 lbs
Round 1:
Royster immediately closes the distance and starts raining punches down on Fujimoto. Fujimoto is doing all he can to tie up the big fella to neutralize the attack.
Royster attacks again, Fujimoto locks up again.
Fujimoto is looking for a way to get some offense going. He steps into the lions mouth and gets off a left right combo that land.
They clinch and go to the ground. When they come back to their feet, Fujimoto lands another Left Right that knock Royster off balance. He follows up with another left right combo that put Royster on the canvas.
1-2-3-4 Royster grabs the second rope to get up 5-6-7 up to one knee 8-9 back down 10 Fight is OVER!

Finals is set. Big Daddy Goodridge vs. Yusuke Fujimoto.
Goodridge vs. Fujimoto RD 2
Fujimoto looks unstable on his feet, but answers the bell. He keeps some distance.
FUJIMOTO ENGAGES! landing 2 solid body shots followed by a straight right hand that lands. Roodridge has no big answer.
Fujimoto lands a knee. Then a punch, then a combo, then a HUGE HIGH KICK. GOODRIDGE is handling it all, but has had the starch taken out of him.
They are just slugging it out in the middle of the ring! Both guys are weary but landing. Fujimoto is starting to get the better of the exchange, then Goodridge lands a big overhand right that puts Fujimoto down.
Fujimoto pops up, only to be put down again.
1-2-3-4-no movemen-5-6 struggling to get up. 7-8 he is up.
Then a straight right kick from Goodridge puts him down again at the end of the round.
Fujimoto is game, but Goodridge is doing a lot more damage.
This exciting fight will go to the third round.
Round 3 Fujimoto vs. Goodridge.
Fujimoto comes out of the corner, but is only able to stand and wait for Goodridge to come accross the ring and knock him around with a brutal combination.
Goodridge knocks him down again. Fujimoto makes the count at 9, but he does not look healthy.
Goodridge attacks again, Kick, punch, punch, kick, down goes Fujimoto. Can this guy possibly make it to his feet again.
1-2-3-4-5 not looking good for Fujimoto 6-7- Fujimoto's corner throws in the towel.

GOODRIDGE IS STANDING ON THE CORNER POUNDING HIS CHEST AND SCREAMING TO THE FANS. What a maniac.
Round 1
The fight opens up with Qucik Jab from BJ. A low kick from Renzo.
Renzo takes BJ Down. BJ is working a 1/2 butterfly guard. Not much action on the ground from either fighter. Ref Larry Landless calls for action.
Renzo now in BJ's full guard, but working some punches to loosen up BJ.
Renzo stays in BJ's guard, but postures up to both feet to get some leverage. No damage done by either fighter to this point, as they grapple near the ropes.
The Hawaiian crowd is restless and starts to chant BJ, BJ, BJ.
Both fighters are content to make small moves on the ground, with neither having significant advantage. Larry Landless warns them again as the crowd goes silent from the lack of action.
A smattering of boos goes out in the crowd, still no significant action at the 1/2 way point of the round.
Renzo postures up from the mount with 20 seconds to go in the round. BJ gets up but no punches are thrown before the end of the round.
Second round starts off with standing action.
Renzo uses an off-balance jab, BJ comes in with a combination and knee to the body that all score.
BJ is starting to get off now. BJ looks to be the dominant fighter standing.
Renzo clinches and looks for a takedown.
Renzo throws a combination that is countered with a stiff left, then followed with a short left jab from BJ.
BJ Scores again with a left hook.
Renzo is throwing some big shots now, but not landing.
The air is thick with anticipation from the crowd, looking for 1 punch to end this fight.
They lock again against the ropes, with Renzo controlling with an over-under body lock.
Renzo sucks up a leg in the corner, but BJ works his way free.
Fight is stalled in the corner.
BJ breaks it up with a left hook. They go back to the center of the ring.
Bj is throwing combinations to end the round, but nothing lands.
Looks like they are going to an extra round
Round 3 - Penn vs. Gracie
BJ starts the round with three quick jabs that land.
Renzo gets deep into a single leg, after a minute or so, BJ fends it off.
Then, BJ gets the takedown.
BJ is working punches and knees to the head and is roaming around in Renzo's butterfly guard.
Still no significant damage done by either fighter.
BJ is now working inside of Renzo's guard, but no damage.
BJ stands up to see if he can get a better shot at Renzo. Renzo pumps a couple up kicks, but neither land. BJ dives in and lands a solid shot. But, ends up in Renzo's guard.
BJ is working frantically now, trying to make something happen. Stands up again, dives in again and this time lands and gets side control. BJ GETS MOUNT!
BJ GETS MOUNT and the bell rings!
wow, the crowd is underwhelmed.
Judges decision..... BJ Penn by Unanimous decision over Renzo Gracie.
So the supposed best p4p fighter in the world couldnt finish an almost 40 year old who hasnt fought in 2 years?

Mr. Beelzebub 08-01-2005, 04:25 PM I still don't like Goodridge, specially that muscular dude with the blonde braids (hia wife). Well, at least he didn't act like a complete ******* this time around and showed some class for a change.
BJ vs. Renzo was one sided just like I predicted... Renzo took him down in Round 1 and didn't do anything, and from there forward tried miserably to take him down again for the rest of the fight while catching 1-2's.
