People are a bit too sensitive about getting bad karam. Rick added the feature for a simple reason so if someone makes a really good post or one you strongly agree with you can show your appreciation with good karma. Likewise if you come across a post that really rubs you the wrong way you can give it bad karma. Really not a big deal.

I usually get one or two karma hits a day. Some good and some bad. I enjoy getting karma because it gives me an insite into that person. For example if someone gives bad karma to a post I made in which I say that Taylor won a close decision against Hopkins and Bernard should quit whining about it, it tells me that the person is probably a Hopkins nuthugger.

When I give karam it's almost never personal. There are 1 or 2 members I hate, britneyspearsguy for example, and I will give them bad karma for breathing, but usually if you look at the post and my comment you'll see that there was a reason good or bad and it was nothing personal.

I really think that people who get all pissy about the karma should maybe take a second to look at their posts. If you are a troll or just like making negative comments about this site, like to constantly talk **** about certain boxers without giving specifics about why you are hating so much, like to constantly take cheap shots against the USA,or whatever then maybe you deserve the bad karma. Maybe the person isn't singling you out to give bad karma for no reason. Just a thought.

And hey if you agree with me feel free to give good karma. If not go ahead and give bad. It really won't affect me and I won't cry about it the way some posters do.

note: i am not directing this post at the person who started this thread. Just makinfg a general comment.

I've mentioned it twice during my run here. Once was because Agony was calling me a fool, and then once when MD was putting out numbers, I said I scored 171 on a test. That really means ****, though, and other than those two isolated incidences, I haven't done that.

Also, I was messing around with him. It's really stupid that people take this **** seriously. If my karma bar was red, would my opinions be any less valid than they are now, if they're valid at all? No, not at all. All it means is that some people disagreed with me at some point, and decided to karma assault me, rather than actually arguing.

McKay and I have argued countless times about just about everything, however, I don't recall either of us sending the other "bad karma," because what we had to say was said, and that's the end of it. Who gives a damn if someone gives you some red?

And also, why is it everytime i ask this question i get "oh you really care about karma" and when he asks it everyone starts bum licking him. Double standards?

Ah what a`shame i actually had respect for you ever since the days of that history "debate" we had that time.
