View Full Version : Tighter Security Needed At Concerts!!!!!!
Mr. Violence 12-10-2004, 02:18 AM Damn it! I'm pissed! In case you haven't heard guitarist Dimebag Darrell was murdered while performing onstage during one of his band's concerts. A gun man in the audience opened fire at the band and some members of the audience killing Dimebag Darrell at point blank range. There's always a few idiots who have to ruin things for everybody. Whenever one of these idiots in society can't contain their animal like impulses, we see another one of our freedoms taken away. Now this effects every body who goes to concerts no matter what genre of music it is. It's a damn shame that an artist can't feel safe onstage while expressing his talents to the world because some knuckle dragging idiot didnt get enough hugs from his daddy. So what the f**k needs to be done in order for concert goers and artists to feel safe from these low lives?
Hunna 12-10-2004, 02:22 AM What a shame that 1 idiot had to ruin it for everybody else. Its so hard to maintain security at venues these days with nutters and terrorists roaming the streets.
Hunna 12-10-2004, 02:25 AM I think people just need to be warry of suspicious characters and be aware of there surroundings. Pretty much be on the lookout.
Like when you go to a public toilet, your awareness of surroundings heighten, so we should just heighten the observation factor and at the sametime have a goodtime.

They already have metal detectors at big venues...now we're probably gonna see metal detectors at small clubs as well. Pretty soon we're gonna turn into Communist China because all our rights will be taken away just to protect us from these idiots.

Its a shame in a civilised society that we have to watch our backs constantly. what's this world coming to.
Hunna 12-10-2004, 02:44 AM It only takes one person to smile to cause a chain reaction of warm smiles and a feeling of belonging. How often do you see terrorists and there followers smile? My point is there has got to be a low cost, genuine and natural solution to the problem of violence. so when you go to supermarket or work today smile because good vibe can make a difference.

I agree with you on some level. But there are those that are too far gone and just a danger to society.

the scum bag sneaked a gun into a club. the band was playing at a small club. thats what I'm saying now here is another freedom taken away from the rest of us because now they are probably gonna have metal detectors and searches at small clubs too, just so one of these pieces of trash cant get in.
Mr. Violence 12-10-2004, 03:04 AM to answer your question ultimate....they found no motive as to why he did it.

Ok well it appears that way. So what are people supposed to do about it? stay inside like a hermit?

No of course not. Live your life. Accept that if something awful happens to you, it is very likely beyond your control. Since it is beyond your control, you waste precious energy if you worry about it.
